Former player arrested in Bryan Pata murder

Question: the photo of the team surrounding the picture of Pata, isn't Jones in that shot?

Going to be interesting if this goes to trial because that would assuredly mean guys or even staff from that team get called as witnesses.

Absolutely happy for the family if this results in closure and justice but not necessarily going to be the greatest of noise (that the national media will lap up like thirsty dogs) for the program.

Like... I can never view this photo the same now without putting all my attention to #38

Agreed. I remember a reference to this in the ESPN report, though it is easy to figure out when you see Google images of Rashaun wearing the #38 jersey.

Shoutout to this article from ESPN last year and the reporters who did great investigative journalism

wait.....how could it take 15 years to get the goods on someone they have long had in their sites? this is going to be interesting.

You need to watch all those 20/20 and Dateline shows about long-unsolved murders. Or watch the HBO series on the Golden State Killer. Sometimes the answer is so obvious, and yet the cops still can't figure it out.

Someone that was connected to Jones probably just got in serious unrelated trouble and flipped to save their *** from those charges. Doubt there was new evidence or someone had a pang of conscience this many years later.
