Someone that was connected to Jones probably just got in serious unrelated trouble and flipped to save their *** from those charges. Doubt there was new evidence or someone had a pang of conscience this many years later.

The ESPN article made a lot of the evidence against Jones public. I'm sure there was a lot more pressure after that came out

Agreed. I remember a reference to this in the ESPN report, though it is easy to figure out when you see Google images of Rashaun wearing the #38 jersey.

I remember FSUWHO and some of us chipping in to pay for that help with the funeral.

I’m glad they caught him, this had gone unsolved for far too long and Jones needs to pay. I’m sure the past 15 years were rough on him, always looking over his shoulder. And now it’s about to get infinitely worse for him. Good.

I read the ESPN article and I was wondering why they didnt go after Jones harder. Now that they got him, I am shocked despite everything that was public beforehand.

I hope that the family can now finally close this chapter as this has been going on for way too long.
