Fork in the Road

It's Year 4 of the Cristobal Era. We're entering the season as a Top Ten team. We've signed the best class in the conference three years in the row. We just produced the #1 pick in the NFL Draft, and we have the #1 player in America committed.

It's Year 4 of the Cristobal Era. We still haven't made an ACC Championship game. The whole nation laughed at us when we forgot to kneel the ball. We just lost the Pop Tart Bowl. We didn't sign a Top 10 class last year, and we don't have a Top 10 class this year.

All of that stuff is true at the same time. Now we've hit a fork in the road. Are we getting over the hump, or are we spinning in circles? This will be the most consequential season since 2000.

Mario better win this year or it will get really ugly and I just don’t know if the next head coach will get the resources.

Any real Miami fan better hope Mario can win cause it might be the programs last chance and I don’t think that’s being extreme. It’s the reality of this program and the future of college football.

Hey Mario

Can’t be the players, they’re Mario’s.

Can’t be the DC, it’s the 3rd one in 4 years.

Can’t be the OC, he just fielded one of the best offenses in the last decade.

Can’t be the money, we have one of the best NIL collectives in America.

Can’t be the schedule, we don’t leave Florida until November, have 8 home games, and play in the ACC.

Get it done.
