For those absolving Mario and the staff...

Mighty Middle Tennessee State got blown out by UAB today. That’s two bad losses for them the last two weeks.

The stench of losing to them isn’t gonna go away any time soon.

we all fired Manny the moment he lost to FIU and crushed him the moment we struggled w CMU. zero patience was shown then and he didnt deserve it either. Mario deserves to be shamed similarly

Who are the "Mario can do no wrong crowd". I must not be reading too many threads on CIS because overwhelmingly, is see posts that are extremely critical of the coaching, and especially Mario. Mario's pre-season hype isn't panning out obviously.

Giving up on Mario as a fan doesn't mean much, lol, unless we stop watching Canes games altogether. His length of tenure is dependent on what he accomplishes week to week and season long. I'll be the first one to a flying a banner effort when the time comes... whether it's sooner or later... I/we want to wear my Canes apparel and tattoos' proudly... again!

There are a select few on here, but it’s more so what you see when you go on social media and what you overhear from a lot of our fans who go to the games.

Diaz deserved the criticism because he had NEVER been a HC and proven to be a winner

Mario has proven to be a winner at oregon with a rose bowl ring of his own on his mantle. The dude has won and could have shot us the rod and kept on going with his machine at oregon. Pick a new team if you think Mario isn’t going to make it because I’m sorry to tell you but if this doesn’t work this is it bud we ain’t EVER coming back

Yes... we've been miserably bad hiring coaches. So the argument that we weren't opening up the pocketbook wide enough can't be used anymore.

I went to the school. stop w the pick a new team until you show your cane card and donation record.

Mario has won but hes shown absolutely nothing right now on this team in this current day that proves hes the guy. hes got us looking like we are still coached by Manny Diaz. I dont give a flying **** about his past history now. its in the past. were being out played and out coached weekly in six weeks.

Fine! We should have let him stay at Oregon because Kiffin would have had us at 4-1 after today..at the very worst

Got it…. Sooo year one of a rebuild coming off of Shannon, golden, richt, and Diaz you had your expectations set at playoff bound mr alumnus? Curious…

Yall keep going back and forth with me as if I said we were a good team lol.

Pretty sure, I've said,, repeatedly, we suck.

What I'm also saying, which seems to be missed, is that almost every other team in cfb ALSO sucks. There's like 5 good teams, and none of them are in the ACC.

when did is ay playoff bound? you just making **** up now?

I expected at least 9-3/8-4. the schedule is super soft and the coastal is absolutely horrendous this year.

we prolly finish off with 5-6 wins esp w injuries mounting.

we are better than that though w competent coaching such as adjusting to your talent from the offseason and not a month into the year where you lost to buy game bc you were too stubborn

We finish 7-5 with competitive losses and a bowl win is a complete failure by the staff? Just curious.. because I have the Clemson game as a loss going forward

I will agree whole heartedly that the coaching staff was too stuck on instilling their personal scheme( mainly Gattis) instead of figuring out what best they could deliver with the talent on hand… why did it take till tonight to realize that TVD could sling the ball in a tempo one/two read scheme.

I have us losing to Clemson obviously. vt is awful but its a road game and w the injuries, who knows what we are then. I have FSU as a toss up. I have us losing to UVA bc why the **** not. GT may get us too.

if we finish 7-5 that would mean we went 5-2 the rest of the way. thats a solid turn around but about what we did last year w manny. it should've been better given that we didnt have Bama and MSU on the schedule to start the year like we did last year. if we continue to show improvement ill be fine w the year w or l. we just can't look incompetent
