Sitting with my GF at World of Beer, and was undecided what to have....the bartender recommended this and i'm very happy he did....Bell's Makes a lot of good stuff. Their Two Hearted Ale is a staple in my fridge.
Edit: speaking of which, I should try home brewing a clone of it to see how it turns out.
What's your normal go to style (IPAs, Stouts, Wheat, etc)?Sitting with my GF at World of Beer, and was undecided what to have....the bartender recommended this and i'm very happy he did....
Depends....as of lately it's been IPAs....but this Cherry Stout changed the score.....What's your normal go to style (IPAs, Stouts, Wheat, etc)?
Bells makes great beer. Id love to try a fresh two hearted. I can't seem to brew any good IPA. I stick with mostly kolsch and lagers now.Bell's Makes a lot of good stuff. Their Two Hearted Ale is a staple in my fridge.

I guess....this is ridiculous....Some good breweries in Michigan!

Brewing a good home IPA is very tricky. Most of the brews I've made get better with age. The issue is, a good IPA needs to be drank while fresh. I think I'm going to stop using the 60 min bittering additions of hops and start dumping more in the whirlpool stage to see if that helps.Bells makes great beer. Id love to try a fresh two hearted. @ghost2 ....this Cherry Stout is as good as anything I've had in quite some time....Bells is awesome! Used to live in Kalamazoo back in the day and I still love their stuff. Oberon is really tasty.
This. Old Nation is my favorite brewery. A little tough to find, but Boss Tweed might be one of the best beers I have ever tasted. 9+% too, so a little goes a long way. Some good breweries in Michigan!
Some. Not as much as I'd like to. It is a lot of fun and I love doing it. I do 5 gallon batches and bottling is a *****. I think 2021 is going to be the year of a homemade kegerator. You home brew much? Recently got into it and absolutely love it
