For the 48th parallel! Spring game will not be streamed

FFS what a bunch of bleeding vaginas.

This board is happy unless it's *****ing.

Call it what you want, but It would be nice to watch my favorite team in all of sports take the field in a game setting for the first time since a disappointing showcase 4 months ago. Especially when the next opportunity to watch them will be in another 4 months.

I'm convinced that this place is overrun with trolls. You morons act like all you need is a Go Pro and a WiFi signal to broadcast. Have any of you ever actually dealt with logistics and operations of anything larger than Wendy's drive-thru?
Dude there are literally kids that live stream stuff daily. You really think the University of Miami can't manage to produce a stream? LOL

Why don't one of yall that's going to the Orlando game just film it with either your phone, ipad or a canon digital camera...

Then you can livestream it on whatever platform you choose or upload it after.

my dream job is to one day be the media director for the athletic department, ima fix all this stuff guys I promise. We are going to be one of the best school and update schools when it comes to this media stuff because this is sad

That's what happened last year. You probably remember but we literally had to have a thread with a link where someone with a grainy cell phone was live streaming a University of Miami spring game. LOL and the donation request emails will keep on a comin!

is there any other "big time" program that is NOT televising their spring game ?

Oddly enough the media team should be in Orlando in full force - baseball is in Kentucky all weekend so there's no excuse for them to not be available to get something done.

There are also some relatively cheap solutions to get the spring game either streamed on social media and/or local CCTV. Orlando City Soccer uses multiple local service providers to stream their USL development team games on Facebook and Twitter - costs them less than $10K per game to produce.

I'll be there in person, but I completely understand the annoyance of those looking to watch but have no way to do so.

PS - I would not go out of your way to blame the coaching staff on this one. This is 100% on the Athletic Department - either they don't want to put in the effort to get something done or they are spending their money elsewhere. Either way, it's pretty embarrassing that we're complaining about this issue in 2019.

PSS - You WILL see me get ****ed off if I see the AD team posting pictures of themselves taking a private jet to-and-from the game. The cost of that flight could easily cover the cost of live streaming the game.

I do not have enough words in my body to describe how disrespectful and out of touch this trend is among UM coaches. Diaz liquidated a metric ton of goodwill from this common fan with this decision. Blake is weak for letting HCs deny fans the one access point they have for 8 whole months to see the program in action.

Gross.

Honestly, who the **** cares about watching a spring game?

We have a new OC and DC and a new QB and yall really want them to stream our spring game for our opponents to watch??

The concert was cancelled, they still chose Orlando to use the stadium prior to the turds game. I'm going to Orlando but would rather drive an hour and a half and come home vs over 2 and a half hours each way and my wife wanting to stay the night. I understand the thought behind it but at least if it was streamed, I could go to Traz and then watch my big screen. Would save a couple hundred bucks!

Brother put some jergens lotion in your palm and rub that ashy elbow.

Man get a nice hotel for the night (use Priceline name your own price, select 4* or higher and start low let's say $60 bid no more than $90), take your lady to out dinner and drinks, then back to the hotel an handle that properly. Make a weekend of it.

Lol, I got a deal through Capital One and Hotels.com at the Marriott for $140 and 10x miles. Don't worry, my lady is going to get it!

I'll be there in person. There will be plenty of empty seats. Probably don't want the rivals to see them.

If your looking for a casual place after the game to eat try the "the Whiskey" it's on sandlake road ( aka restaurant row). It will be on the way back to your hotel if your staying at the Marriott WorldCenter.

You don't think the Gators and others won't be there in the stands. Knowing that they'll be facing a different offense?

Doing it this way won't prevent them from spying

If you're trying to surprise them completely then allow no one to attend. BUT they'd better win

The game is open to the public and UiF finishes spring practices this Saturday. If it's that big of an advantage, Mullen and staff can just drive/fly down. Keeping it off air accomplishes nothing.
