For the 48th parallel! Spring game will not be streamed

Just went on line and got my ticks...

This is not related to the live stream, but I have a friend who works concessions and as of right now they are not scheduled to work due to the lack of ticket requests.

Of course this could change, but surprised to hear, maybe now that there is no stream, tickets will move.
Because nobody that lives in Orlando gives a **** about the Hurricanes. It is 95% gator country with a smattering of UCF alums wearing their fake national champs shirts.

This captures how I feel about it. If Manny wants to have the Spring game up in Orlando so that the team/staff is more familiar with the stadium, I'm fine with that. But if you are going to take the Spring game and move it such an inconvenient distance from the Rock, then you need to do right by your fanbase and provide live access.

Also, I do not believe the "logistics" did not work. We aren't talking about landing a man on Mars, we're talking about setting up a small production crew with a few cameras for a game at a stadium where college football is played (and televised) every year. That's a BS excuse to cover up the truth.

It would take 1-2 people to set up 2-3 cameras and livestream it on youtube or another similar website. Logistics is a BS card to pull

I wouldn’t wanna show the spring game either if our o line looks like a JV o line. Plus there’s 4500 injuries so it’s gonna be all walk ons. I’d rather not watch walk ons for 3 hours.

Yep, guaranteed the freshman video production class could set it up with a camera and internet connection in minutes. Logistics..... LOL
That reminds me, I need Giselle back in my life 😎

Say what u will about Golden but he was incredibly transparent when it came to the program and fans. Remember "Raising Canes"? Basically Hard Knocks but for The U. Pretty sure the only reason their YouTube is Canes All-Access is bc that's what it was, all-access to the Canes.

Raising Canes was probably the best thing that came out of Golden's entire tenure.

The media team who shot and edited the videos back then were better to. The most decently edited video I have seen in a while was the one from the scrimmage game. Even then it wasn't nothing that u see from most P5 programs.

get a buddy and have him IG live it for you?

Will you be my buddy?

While I agree that it's bush league to not stream it- the histrionics about it are a bit much from some of us.

On the broader issue of the Spring Game in general, we're simply never going to have a respectable let alone impressive one until the school decides it is worth throwing some major $$$ at and turning it into an actual event. It simply would have to be coupled with something like a big name musical performance and some other appealing ancillary events.

Could it be done and turned into a major fundraising event? Sure. Will it? Don't hold your breath just yet as the school is improving but still slow to realize the cost/benefit of such endeavors. Let Manny have some real on-field success and then make it a priority if he sees fit, I guess.

He has a quarterback competition, along with installing the new offense. Regardless of how vanilla it may be, I wouldn't want anyone seeing anything either. Besides tough to set up an ESPN 3 broadcast on the road for production reasons. Especially cause we'd be in charge.
UF will have coaches at the game along with their film crew. If UM doesn't broadcast, we can always ask Mullen to post on YouTube. I'm sure they'll have multiple cameras at the game.

the only ones that won't see it are the Cane fans that can't make the trip. The Turds and any other team we play that wants to see anything that would be streamed will have coaches there. So why not stream it?

sure can't be to hide anything unless they are going to close it to the public completely to keep the other schools out.

Wait, the spin from the program are we want to be acclimated with the stadium and logistics?
I wouldn't watch it anyway, but what kind of people are running this program man, wtf?
It's 2019 you can set up cameras and stream it from pretty much anywhere on EARTH.
And the whole to know the stadium part is just laughable, this really is a small/average program with a big program ego, jfc

Same BS excuse we gave last year before LSU beat the **** out of us anyway.

I'm convinced that this place is overrun with trolls. You morons act like all you need is a Go Pro and a WiFi signal to broadcast. Have any of you ever actually dealt with logistics and operations of anything larger than Wendy's drive-thru?
