For the 48th parallel! Spring game will not be streamed

You don't think the Gators and others won't be there in the stands. Knowing that they'll be facing a different offense?

Doing it this way won't prevent them from spying

If you're trying to surprise them completely then allow no one to attend. BUT they'd better win

Yes, but having it streamed online just gets those photos of empty seats to everyone. How many times has FSU touted Spring Game attendance to us?

I do not have enough words in my body to describe how disrespectful and out of touch this trend is among UM coaches. Diaz liquidated a metric ton of goodwill from this common fan with this decision. Blake is weak for letting HCs deny fans the one access point they have for 8 whole months to see the program in action.

Gross.

and the whole "why show the turds our offense and allow them to gameplan" is moot bc the turds will surely have personnel in Orlando to record our spring game...it is open to the public

We all know why cmr did it.hopefully Diaz isn't doing it for the same reason.cmrs offenses sucked eggs that why his was closed.hope diaz/enos aren't trying to sandbag us as well.

I'll have to depend on Canesallaccess highlights which always suck. Mostly a bunch of players walking in slow motion to hard music. Someone is sprinting here, a catch there, then the highlight ends. Waste of time.

yea, that is ******* stupid. incredibly bad decision. and being okay with not streaming the game, because youre concerned about your rivals making fun of you, just means they own you that much more. who gives a **** what they think. you're really going to let them dictate your own enjoyment?

Why is it dumb canesthing3 to ask if diaz/enos closed the practice or scrimmage if they're offense looks just as we cmrs did the last 3 years.doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why cmr didn't have his open to the public.Diaz is going to have to show his offense is better now or the fan base will be all over him next fall if this offense lays an egg especially against ufag.

He has a quarterback competition, along with installing the new offense. Regardless of how vanilla it may be, I wouldn't want anyone seeing anything either. Besides tough to set up an ESPN 3 broadcast on the road for production reasons. Especially cause we'd be in charge.

As if UF or anyone else couldn't just come dressed in Canes gear and film it for themselves.

Don't make excuses for stupidity. Every major program has their spring game televised on ESPNU and then rebroadcast for weeks. If you want to keep an addict hooked, you have to feed the jones every now and then.

Absolutely no good reason for a University that aspires to have an elite football program, and does have an elite broadcasting school, not to film and broadcast their own spring game for the fans to see.

they just said that it was a logistical issue with the stream

Not @'ing you, but that's a bull**** excuse. UM has a broadcasting school. Worst case, you film the game, let some students use it as resume material, clean it up in production overnight, and post it online the next day for people to watch.

It's 2019. No one here seriously believes, in an era where you can watch a full NFL game in near perfect quality on your phone while driving down the interstate at 80 miles an hour, that it's too difficult to live stream a football scrimmage with 2-3 cameras, do they? I mean, that would just be stupid, almost like still thinking that the earth is flat and black holes don't exist.
