I guess you are assuming other schools operate off the same we dont need a QB competition mentality Miami uses. That's not typically how football schools operate, but it is wishful thinking.
 
The hate for the post is silly. It’s pessimistic, but not out of the realm of possibility. Could be another full flip of the roster basically. That’s new age CFB.

Out of all those dudes, I would hope most that Lee and Mauigoa stay. True anchors on each side of the ball.

Lots of folks predicted this would be a wonderful thing for UM....you know big city, potential endorsements, Yada, Yada as if UM athletics would transform into Real Madrid.

I was with the other "careful what you ask for..." crowd.

Having said all this, we won game yesterday and all I read on this and other Cane sights is mostly "doom and gloom" garbage about players and coaches leaving.

Collectively, our fan base sucks.

You guys would complain about the curtains at an UCLA sorority orgy.

Bobby and Robby Washington.

Possible all 4 are gone.

Their dad’s played at UM and the fact they are being talked about as risks for transferring is concerning on so many levels.

Do we have the NIL program to do that and will we be aggressive enough? Equally important, will we have a staff in place when the portal opens. That couldn’t have helped last year.

Yes, our NIL program is fine. We have a ton of expensive players. Our OL alone is probably the most expensive in the country and guys like TVD, LT and Kinchens make top dollar.

Appreciate that but we know the portal is a different nexus than recruiting out of high school for those difference makers. Particularly since they are lower risk in some ways, and even more so at the money positions we need.

I’m more concerned if Dawson moves on and/or Guidry goes to LSU. Will we have their successors announced when the portal opens?

Makes no sense for damari or Bobby to transfer
Brothers aren't stuck at the hip
But Robby will get on the field somewhere here if he stays
