First thing I do is throw money at big-time coaches at big-time programs. Call Saban, call Meyer, call Patterson, call Dantonio. They'll say no, but show everyone involved you're serious about this hire. Next step IMO is the NFL - guys like Hue Jackson, Pagano, Chud. Even if there isn't mutual interest, maintain those ties and contacts in the League. Then you look at guys like Stoops at Kentucky - i.e. good coaches in dead-end jobs. After that, you dig deep and look for guys like Fuente who may not have the hype but are cut from the same cloth - Matt Campbell, Matt Wells, Chad Morris, et al.

JMO.

You can't get turned down by 8 guys. You look like a desperate clown show.

Hue Jackson all the way. He's got Andy Dalton looking like a decent QB so that's saying something.

Regarding Hue Jackson, when i first heard his name my first thought was wtf but the more i learn about him the more i like him. He could be great in Miami. I think he could relate to the players down here (watch a few videos of him coaching on the sidelines, seems like a players coach) and recruit. We know he's a good x and o guy as far as the offensive side of the ball goes. Not sure it will happen at this point but i'm on board if it does.

Someone with a balls to the wall offense and willing to hire Jim Leavitt away from Colorado to be DC

Sumlin may be looking for the back door in College Station pretty soon.

If we can't have Butch then why not go the "Butch" route and hire an NFL coordinator? They will be very solid x and o wise and can evaluate talent.

If you win at Miami then Recruiting takes care of itself.

After the last 10 years I'd rather have an X and O guy who can take a hand full of 4 stars and three stars from south Florida, develop them and put them in a position to win on Saturday.

One concern is that he has ties to USC and now that job is open. If he wants into college his previous school may be a stronger draw.

Jeremy Pruitt
Ed Oregeron

Make it ***ing stop!!!!!
I'm throwing out additional names. And this is the 3rd teir of coaches I would want. So you can stfu and get the f_ck on b*tch

Shut up Broke. Go help Golden pack, I am sure you're devastated about it.

What is a "teir"?
A level of the coaches I would want

Jesus Brock....it's spelled tier.

Matt Campbell or Chad Morris. I just want somebody who will be aggressive and utilize the athletes that he will have access to at every turn in South Florida. Whoever the head coach is I would love to see a Jim Leavitt hiring for the DC. Anybody but Schiano, Cristobal, or even Chud.

Give us your list DMoney.
