If he was smart he would return.. He is coming off injury and not is best season. Dont make the same mistakes as past underclassmen Canes .. Tommy Streeter, Brandon Washington, Olivier Vernon and Miller to name a few.

They all were projected high and were cut in rookie or first season. I can understand Miller with bum shoulder But Streeter was picked up last week by Jags and has now played for Ravens, Bucs, and Jags which maybe his last shot.

Washington went public with the lies he received from MR. SUPER AGENT Vernon is a player but he is under paid for his value. (Flowers) A top 100 prospect as a OT ** money position** currently 4th or 5th best OT spells come back ball and be a lottery pick.

Turn pro, likely get drafted on Day 2, and start making NFL money

OR

Stay another year to play for lame duck coach and spectacularly incompetent a**hole Al Golden

He's gone.
 
If he is one of the many players that is unhappy with the staff, he should leave. He's being pegged as a top 3 round pick.

Why risk injury and play for a bunch of a-hole coaches? Not to mention, this gives him a year to avoid an injury and go get some real coaching.

You realize that Vernon and Miller have been starters in the NFL for a few years now, right?

You realize that they are severly under-paid , RIGHT !! Miller just recently got to be a starter and Vernon has been a beast since Freshman year and he is paid how-much??

Let's think from a business perspective and not be (in your feelings with Golden) the last time players left cause they were mad and staff, coach etc. was this same group..

Why dont you tell Tommy Streeter he made the best decision or Brandon Washington (was all ACC) and cut as a Rookie he wasnt ready.. he said himself if he could do it again he would have stayed.
 
He did not have the season that Im sure he wanted but unfortunately he is gone regardless..... Duke and FLowers been gone before the season. Dont let the duke interviews during the season fool you.....

Stay another year.. Be coached by one of the better OL coaches and be a top 2 OL and guarantee spot in first round.

Ereck Flowers is a projected 2nd day NFL pick, not a guy who only played one season like Streeter or who was never very good like Washington. He's more along the lines of Olivier Vernon...who is still playing and starting in the NFL. Go away, your logic is horrid.

Duke should be gone .. Based on his size dimensions and accomplishments he cant improve is stock...
 
If this team would have won 10 games and be a fovorite to win the ACC next year he and Duke probably would have returned. Why would anyone stay around this dumpster fire. This team will win at the most 5 games next year.

The only way he should even give a thought to returning would be with a new coaching staff. Every draft eligible junior should leave. It's got to be hard work playing for this dumpster fire of a coaching staff and if it's not going to be fun, might as well get paid.

So he makes 4 yrs. 2.8 mill , following year Werner, Datone Jones, Mingo , Jarvis Jones, Dion Jordan, Ezekial Ansah , Datone Jones.. There is a staying healthy factor (which he was never severely injured) but he was better than all these guys.. who made more money for staying one more season.
