Florida just flipped Holley

Did this ******* T Rob dude pull this off?

No. Different recruiter. They actually have a staff full of recruiters. They built a strong relationship with Holly and were always running second to PSU. There were even some reports UF was leading after the visit. Once Larry Johnson (Hollys recruiter) left, they flipped him.

Holley, Willis, and Clark.......Al Golden is a failure at life if he can't even get two 4* DT's but a coach of a 4-8 team can??? what a joke

UF lost 7 straight games to end the season. One of those loses coming at home ( The Swamp ) to Ga Southern.

These dudes pulling in major talent smh.

Whatever they are doing up there. Needs to be taught to this program, because that **** is bananas.

Muschamp knows defense he has put 1st rounders like Shariff Floyd in the league plus ballers like Dante Fowler looks like a 2016 1st rounder and recruits want to play in a "real" defense nobody wants to play for D'noforio and his 100+ ranked defense

That's what happens when play in SEC and fans show up for Saturday games.

I saw a couple games at the Swamp on TV this year that had quite a few empty seats. Apparently winning has a direct correlation as to whether or not people attend games, even at mighty U***.

That's what happens when you fire the coordinator that's not doing his job and hire a promising new one... You can sell recruits on what's possible

But holley plays on the dline. Not offense lol

the issue is that they came off a 4-8 season because of their offensive ineptitude.... People wanna play for winners!

Their defense hasn't been the issue. Muschump is a G on that side of the ball, but kids are flipping to them now cause they have made adjustments in their staff to put themselves in a position to be good on both sides of the ball, thus win more...

That's not what you said/implied in your original post. You implied that because roper was selling dreams that they were able to land Holley. Them landing Holley had nothing to do with Roper. It had everything to do with Larry Johnson and Bill o Brien leaving PSU. UF has been in second for his recruitment for a long time now. They sold Holley on being able to come into UF and play early on the dline. We tried to sell the same point to holly, but it's not about the content it's about how you pitch it.

And point us to when Miami had this great period of attendance that was pulling these 5 stars. Kids sign up for promising futures no matter how the present looks. The outlook of Our future is whats stifling our recruiting. People say Randy messed up recruiting relationships but naa his plan was just not coming to fruition..

Between Holley committing and Willis being a huge Douche, we should check back in with Clark.

Why are we the only Florida team that continually struggles to land big time DTs? It's ******* mind boggling

haa! Thanks for telling me what I meant....

I didn't say Roper was pitching ****! I said UF as a whole can pitch that they will win big because they've addressed their sole weekness... And yes, losing Johnson at PSU probably played the biggest role. But, seeing other elite players buy in after the change in staff also plays a factor.

I was addressing the OP's question...
4-8 and they have more recruiting momentum, better chance to finish with a top 5 class then we do.

Just so happens that every commit in UF is jumping ship, then.... they change Coordinators and all of a sudden get 3 5* players in Willis, Tabor & Holley plus Powell....
