"I'm gonna kill you, your family and your garbage team, McEltoof!!!! I'll never forget what you did to my son!!!"

As pointed out elsewhere, the UF athletic administration undercut McElwain's comments and made him look like a whiny fool for even bringing up the supposed threats.

That lack of support would've never happened with Spurrier or Urbie Liar.

The current AD has zero ties to McElwain.

Lose to Georgia, South Carolina/Muschamp and the worst Semenhole team in who knows how long — all of which is a real possibility — and the Turds will have a new coach by December.

Florida coach Jim McElwain says team has received death threats after 3-3 start

"It's one thing to criticize coaching decisions, vent about a team's struggles and even wonder either publicly or privately if the coach running your program is right for the job. It's entirely different to wish physical harm or cause emotional harm to that coach, players and families associated with the program."

When confronted by the university he declined to offer more information. That smells kinda fishy to me. Could be a sick ploy to save his job.

Didn't Florida make it to a couple of SEC championship gamez recently? Don't think he getz fired after this season.

Getting fired is worst case scenario for us. I want him to squeak out a few more wins, maybe make uga game interesting, beat chump and dumbo and earn another year of a train wreck season. WAnt to see a slow circling of the drain rather than a fast one

He's not getting fired at the end of the season. UF has $12 million reasons why he will stay at least through the 2018 season. Plus, from a perception standpoint, it will look terrible to potential future coaching candidates to fire Mac after one bad season after winning the SEC East twice. Especially with the suspensions and injuries... he'll get another year.

Add to that as we all know, Gators fans obsess over recruiting rankings so anything that will jeopardize their beloved 2018 class will not be tolerated - even if that means holding onto Mac for another year. They'll push for him to shake up his staff first and then reassess after the conclusion of the 2018 season.

I'm just hoping he's still around for 2019!

This.

But, we all know it's not going to get better. I predict McSharkBait gets fired end of 2018 when that buyout goes down. Two subpar seasons together will do the trick.

I do too. But that drain is circling faster and faster. He may not be there next season. Like I said in another thread, if he only wins like 1-2 games remaining, he could easily be gone after this season.

Not saying that’s what I want to happen, but I just think they’ll eat the money and fire him or he “quits” with full benefits.

1. Florida coach is a *****. Take it to authorities and they will handle it. Going on social media is for pussboys.
2. Don't doubt it if it happened. Gainesville is still living in the days of the KKK. Place is ridiculously stuck in time.
3. No matter how much we all hate to lose nobody should ever threaten someone with death. Moronic

Everyone here — except for any **** trolls — hopes McElwain is still around in 2019. And 2020. And 2021. And so on ...

But don't expect the big $ UF supporters to tolerate losses to UGA, South Carolina (with its fired Gator coach) and their blood rivals 2 hours to the northwest in one month's time — 12M or not.

Those 9 suspensions for credit card fraud are going to come in handy when the school administration and its lawyers start negotiating down McElwain's buyout.

Plus, even the dumbest Gator knows two titles in the weakest division among the P5 conferences don't mean s**t.

So...

After this clown is unfortunately fired/resigns this offseason, do we hire Randy as our LB Coach and fill that 10th spot, or nah?
