Should he stay?
Good backs often leave after year 3. He's had a ton of carries for wear and tear, though not a full three years of them.
Love the guy but I'm not seeing him as a day one or day two draft pick.
I think we'll need him as a big back. Better than Brown. Lyle might leave.
He'd make a good big-small combo with Pringle.

That’s the type of player that has no benefit of leaving early for the NFL. We all love him but he doesn’t have any outstanding traits maybe besides pass pro. Hes going to be fighting for roster spots the entire time he’s chasing an NFL dream, why not have 4 great years of college instead of throwing 1 year of eligibility away? Plus he’s a hometown kid, there’s a reason to stick around the family before bouncing around teams and practice squads (maybe, the nfl is tough)

He’s not as good as Damien Martinez who went undrafted. He will make more money if he stays another year. I’m conflicted on fletcher, kid runs hard, has some speed, but doesn’t seem to have the patience to let the play develop. I could be wrong, I’m no expert, but feel like if he gave the line more time he’d be able to find a crease and go instead of running into a wall.

If he’s a day 3 pick which I can see it happening because 40 time is such a big thing for teams…

He might just make more money here next year and still get drafted in the same spot next year. Another year of work on pass pro and maybe show casing catching out of the backfield can help… teams really value that if your not gonna be the “bell cow”

Martinez is a better back than him and he is not in league. Fletcher is just adequate and he should maximize whatever he can make in cfb and go from there.. Honestly wish if we wanted to be a running team we invested in getting better backs.. We should have superstar backs.. Not sure why we dont recruit dynamic backs after Martinez..

I'll take a mix of Ridley - Fletcher - Marty all day. Unfortunately Lyle seems lost. He might be the odd man out of he can't turn things around fast.

You mean like Pringle does?

He won’t get faster or anything and he has been preserved here I would say. He should go to the league and go make that money. True cane and real likable off the field. Will always root for him but keep it 100 that he slow asf.

Mario has given him a backhanded compliment more than once. "He's running faster and with more authority now".

Which this kind of validates our eyes.

If Mark could be consistent at making the first person miss, he would have an intriguing skillset given his frame. It's crazy, but Damien Martinez has not been on an active roster this season and I'm pretty sure MF wouldn't be as well.

Given that, I hope the kid stays and makes a great pairing with Girard Pringle.

Fletcher's a Day 3 guy either this year or next. I'd bet he comes back.

Unless we happen to make a run in the playoffs & he has some big games. Then he should go.

Either way - he's gonna need a good bit of luck to get any run in the NFL.

Miami will never make the playoffs or win the ACC with him as the primary RB1.

He can stay for 10 years if it makes people feel better, but as long as he's getting the bulk of the carries the run game will continue to be limited.
