Fletcher in '26

“We are much better with him than without him”. I’ve seen that said plenty, not necessarily in this thread but thats a popular sentiment or some variation of it.

Then we need to recruit much, much better at RB. Great kid, good CFB player and definitely has helped us plenty, but if him leaving/not playing hurts us deeply then again, we need to recruit much better at RB and says more about the lack of talent in that room than anything if he is the “star”. Him coming back will do nothing to increase his stock and just add more tread on his tires, he should go.

Will he take carries away from Lofton?

If he makes the nfl it will be a few games. He will get some time on a practice squad. He will make substantially more in college

Several people have echoed what I said, but you call quote me, lol. I don’t want you brother, neither do the players, get off your knees. This place was much better when you were banned.

“Great kid, good CFB player and definitely has helped us plenty,” - Just completely ignored me saying that lol.

Martinez is a better back than him and he is not in league. Fletcher is just adequate and he should maximize whatever he can make in cfb and go from there.. Honestly wish if we wanted to be a running team we invested in getting better backs.. We should have superstar backs.. Not sure why we dont recruit dynamic backs after Martinez..

This offense needs that type of back.

Nothing wrong with a bruiser but a team needs a back that can break that 4 yard play to a 8 yard play with vision ,cutting,speed... speed will always be that equalizer. imo, Make things easy for everybody on offense.

IDGAF what no body say Pringle and Fletcher is thunder and lightening if it happens next yr.

Next year if fletcher stays and get paid 💯 for him. Whatever he can do for his family like artie burns type shi.

Yep, you can't have an opinion or perspective on a player or coach unless it's positive only or these fake superfans will come after you and attack you. It gets old quick. Unfortunately, this board is littered with them.

Would love him back, he’s not a 2001 caliber Miami back but I agree with D$’s point that he’s made a bunch of times…if he entered the portal, I’d wager that most of the big boys would be in on him.

Should he stay?
Good backs often leave after year 3. He's had a ton of carries for wear and tear, though not a full three years of them.
Love the guy but I'm not seeing him as a day one or day two draft pick.
I think we'll need him as a big back. Better than Brown. Lyle might leave.
He'd make a good big-small combo with Pringle.
With the emergence of Pringle, it’s probably in his best interest to leave

Good college player, but I’ve said it for 3 years, he’s a 1B on an elite team.

This is why NIL is great. Odds are he’s never going to make a 53 man long-term. Might be a journeyman type player but I don’t see a kid getting burn in the league consistently and he’s not going to be able to play special teams. So, if you know that, take another year of money here, and get your degree. Seems to be a really great kid. Put some cash in your pocket and get a great college degree to fall back on. Years ago this type of kid would go to the league 99 times out of 100. And likely wash out quickly. Now he can make some money here.

The way you **** ride other players and been on my **** since I joined i can’t tell.. but it’s good u cleared that up before it be another problem.

He shouldn’t leave but would benefit by staying at Miami and getting better at his game.

Translate that in Miami football-world: He’s gone.

Im not so sure they’d be lined up for him. Not fast, no wiggle, I don’t think he has good vision.

Replacement level player on a playoff-caliber team.

Fletcher's a Day 3 guy either this year or next. I'd bet he comes back.

Unless we happen to make a run in the playoffs & he has some big games. Then he should go.

Either way - he's gonna need a good bit of luck to get any run in the NFL.
if DM didnt get picked up, fletcher has no shot. hes udfa and will get a shot in a camp
