Said it many weeks ago in a different thread that Fletcher coming back is huge for the team. Some idiots tried to say he can move on like he isn’t a good football player.

Fletcher, Pringle, Mallory, Brown and whoever else is a very nice backfield for next year.

Kind of torn on this . Of course I’d want fletcher to come back but I think He’s probably nfl ready now and we know rbs have a short shelf life in the league.

On one hand he can get drafted and be an nfl back and on the other get your degree, guaranteed nil money and make another playoff run

He can make more in NIL than being drafted in the 5-7th rds and possibly just being on a practice squad. This is why NIL is so important.

I agree Completely . With the way nil is setup, if you don’t have a top 2 round grade it’s no point in leaving early as a junior

We keep the carries low for our RB’s by all the rotating we do. Fletcher won’t have nearly as many carries as the bama RB’s used to have coming out of college.

There’s no guarantee he’d be drafted just looked at Martinez last season. This is huge for us I’m glad he’s back.

Great news! Mark looked decisive and violent on Saturday; the offense will be humming next season with a good TE and the right QB.

Hopefully we'll get to see how Lyle looks running from the pistol.
 
People are overlooking why this is so awesome.

Yes, Mark is a great player.

Mark is ALSO a tremendous leader and human being.

You need those types of guys in the locker room to help steer the ship. We’re going to have a mass exodus of “glue guys” like Bain and Cici.

The best teams are player led — guys that bought into the standard Mario has talked about since he got here. Fletcher fits the mold. And we’re lucky he’s returning.
