A lot of things aren’t gonna make any sense with the ridiculous nil stuff going on.
Not only is the NCAA not caring about what’s going on with nil but they’re not even in the picture right now from what I’m getting.
They very much care, they just haven’t figured out how to regain control yet.

Yep, Frank is a legit 6’5. Him and Kirkland are going to be a dumb good combo.
Must fvking get. Spend whatever you need to get that foundation in here.

The less you need to spend in the future once you have a solid product on the field you can sell but for now you have buy high on these guys and I would include Rashada or Moore in there as they could possibly take some of our receiver targets with them to UiF that we would get here instead with a solid QB commit.

I’m not talking about nil.
There is money being given under the table at an exaggerated rate due to the fact that kids can now say they’re making money legitimately.

If the ncaa hasn’t been suspicious at the football player parking lots at places like Clemson Bama and uga for the past 10 years, what makes you think they’re gonna care now when the players are making legal money.

It’s like being a drug dealer while having millions of ig and YouTube followers. You can tell the irs/dea to kick rocks cause you’re already making money. Unless they’ve actually caught you dealing you can say your making legitimately. Have an nil car then go to the mall and spend all that under the table money.

That’s actually how drug dealers stay in business. Any idiot that sells drugs and drives around in a Ferrari without a legit business is stupid af!!

Yet Bama and the rest of the frontrunners were doing exactly that and letting players drive around exotics and hellcats for years and all the ncaa had to do was ask “wtf is going on here”?! And where has the “care”your talking about from the ncaa then? Where was the ncaa compliance office while players were all up on social media with these cars and cash and jewelry and expensive clothes?

Remember Xavier Williams in an M3 with Louis Vuitton drip from head to toe right after he committed to Bama?

The only reason they “care” now is because the frontrunners told
them to start caring.

Los Pollos Hermanos!!! All over cfb right now.

This is what kills me with them. Their 20 year mark since their last title is FAST APPROACHING. With uga and tennesse rising they will only have the SEC chant to pound here very soon
Dawg and they’ve been telling us since atleast 09 any maybe even earlier that our last title was old . Now they 15 years removed and it’s different narrative

Short answer is this: the ncaa likes the old system because they govern it. They have power over under-the-table money because it’s generally given with the approval of the school and the clear purpose is to get a kid to sign with that school. As you point out, they rarely step in and never against a a top program, but they still have authority. You don’t have to use power to have it. As you saw with us, they can hurt you just by “investigation” for several years, even if they don’t directly punish you.

With NIL, they don’t have that power. Until they can prove that Miami or another program is using it directly for recruiting (which they still have control over) there’s not much for them to say. And that’s my point, they don’t like this money being out of their hands. They don’t get to pick winners and loser by punishing certain programs because they can’t. At least for now. I’d be shocked if they aren’t huddling with their lawyers looking for a way to regulate NIL. My guess is they’ll start by accusing some programs of using NIL to recruit players and calling that a violation.

It’s only with us that ****les don’t count when they’re over 5 years old.
Gators living off off the legacy of 2 dudes that were/are in the closet as well as few murders including one in Gainesville.

At least we’re living off the greatest team ever and a bunch of hall of famers and soon to be hall of famers.
Vols living off one Manning and their most recent ****le in 98.
Alabama and notre dame want to claim titles all the way back to the 30’s and sht.
Props to Bama for their recent and impressive run.
But uga and Clemson were talking sht to us about 2001 while looking back at titles in the 80’s.

All we know is Cristobal is an elite recruiter, nobody understands the importance of OL as much as him, and we are a top 5 NIL school.

If we don't get Mauigoa, there probably wasn't much more we could do.

Visited Bama this weekend. Greg Biggins, the west coast 247 guy had this to say. Just sharing, don’t shoot.
