First female COS hired in NFL

Try again. She was a 1 year quality control coach. Close though. :stephenahand:

"After attending the first-ever women's clinic at the Manning Passing Academy, Brownson landed her first full-time coaching job in 2018 as an offensive quality control coach under Buddy Teevens at Dartmouth, making her the first full-time female coach in Division I history."
Ahhh, ok. I stand corrected. I misread it; was first full time D1 coach, not HC. No wonder I was so shocked when I thought I read she had been Dartmouth's HC earlier.

Yeah. It's not even a field coach. The dude who just left for Arkansas is more qualified. Jesse Sparks or whatever his name is.

Great, but when is an NFL team going to finally appoint a black Cuban-Ukrainian transgender homosexual to be their COS? This is an outrage!

We have at least 3 of those on CIS alone so the search should commence here. Goodell has been notified.

Ima keep it a buck, I thought that was a dude at first glance lol

Huge Miami Hurricanes fan. Good for her. Dont quite get why her looks are relevant to the discussion. Not exactly something that can be helped. She wants to be involved with a football front office- she's not trying to be Kaitlin Jenner and spreading her buttcheeks for playboy.

In terms of being qualified for the position- yes, she is qualified to be a COS. Were there more experienced candidates that didn't get hired? Maybe. But that's the case for a lot of jobs. Pretty much every job I've had, I've landed over more experienced candidates, but my bosses chose me because I am good at dealing with difficult people. A COS is going to be the HCs filter to prevent the coach from dealing with minutiae. She might be really good at that. She also has FCS football coaching experience.

Also, if you think a woman isn't capable of being in the front office of a football team- Condi Rice leads the BCS playoff committee and says her dream job is to be the Commissioner of the NFL. Do you think she's unqualified for that job?

You’re making a lot of assumptions about what people think about the hire.

Yes, Condi Rice is currently not qualified to be the commish of the NFL.

There’s nothing in her past, to include the football committee, that makes her remotely qualified for that NFL job.

What exactly is the BCS playoff committee? Isn’t that two separate and distinct championship roads of approach in D1 football? One of which is now defunct.

What qualified the current NFL commish prior to his selection, and how is that different from Rice’s current resume, in a way that makes him more qualified? What relevant experience did he have at the time that would make him more qualified than her? Serious question.
