3 years together, rivalry game, closing minutes and our coaching staff is confused...

I'm more confused why it seems the head coach wants the time out and got overruled by the OC...

Maybe the OC liked the match ups with the players on the field. If you call a TO you give the defense a chance to change personnel.

Still baffling that we didn't kick the FG there. Would have only been a 40-something yarder. Well within Carter's range.

I thought that a FG was the logical play. Would like to know his reason for not trying it.
