Silly kids don't even read what they write. When I politely remind then that the criminal legal standards do not apply to those wishing to play football or attend a private university, they directly tell me that I am wrong that the presumption of innocence "applies everywhere." Well numb nuts it does not. And it is not open for debate. Now, if you were trying to contend that the AD or UM should allow those who admit to attacking other students to continue to play or attend class while the criminal process takes its time and deals with the alleged crimes, that is different. And at schools like Ohio State and FSU that is the excuse they use to allow bad people to help them make money. Almost like the mob-if you are not in jail, get back to work. Well, I for one, and perhaps it is because I have a daughter, am sick and tired of schools trying to shift their obligation to provide a safe campus to local cops who are just like those in Tally and Ohio and Happy Valley. I for one am proud that my team and my school did not put playing football above rape of a young woman or dozens of minor boys....allegedly.
