Fight broke out during Canes practice.

Might be trash football players but I wouldn't want to throw down with any of them outside of special teams... Well Hedley... Yeah Nevermind. What player do you think is the best fighter on the team? I bet James Williams can throw TF down down, dude has like an 80 inch reach and is an athletic freak

Sounds like this team is imploding and Manny is equating it to childbirth. The BOT should be ashamed of themselves allowing this monstrosity to continue. We are the laughing stocks of college football.

I’ve grown more and more pessimistic that’s this will get fixed right way. The common denominator in the past 15 years of mediocrity has been the poor decisions by the BOT/President either in hiring the wrong AD, not pushing the AD to fire poor HC, not providing financial support to HC to hire good coaches/coordinators, and interested in the revenue side of the football program instead of winning a natty.

We are an irrelevant and failed team right now where celebrated old Canes refuse to watch our games and support this team. They are more disgusted then the fans.

We are in this mess because of the BOT/President. They know this will not get turned around. They know it will get much worse as they continue to loose games, fans, revenue, and game attendance. They know the local and national media will rip this team, AD, and BOT as this crazy train derails. Yet they rather do nothing instead of making it right now by firing Manny and AD which everyone knows is the only way to try and get a respectable HC here.

The BOT/President is the group we should be most angry with and the ones who cares the least about this program. They are worthless and a bunch of morons who only care about the program when they are forced to.

Sam Howell is like…
Happy Big Lebowski GIF
**** defense that bad they make A Lashlee offense cohesive.

Apparently punches were being thrown during Canes practice. One player almost decked a defensive assistant, so it must have been some battle.

Barry Jackson delivered that info so... Idk what to say rn, whether thats a good thing or a bad thing.

edit: mr. 15-0 told me to add something, so here: if the coach would have been decked, it would have been an accident. he tried to break it up and almost got popped himself (which is why i dont go into fights)

reason why they fought is because they ran sprints for penalties. if you dont show full effort, the whole group that you are in has to run the sprints all over again. some players apparently didnt, hence the fight.

player meeting happened afterwards, without the coaches being present. manny made another stupid comparison after that meeting that i dont even want to quote here...
Every season, either in the summer, or after a bad loss, my team in college always had a pretty good fight. Coaches get knocked down trying to break them up and people ended up running laps for 1-2 hours, never saw a suspension. It's not a bad thing, it works out the frustration, bad blood is put to rest and you come back together as a team.

I'm not surprised Nesta is involved in this. I once saw him post a IG story of him driving over 100 mph on US1 (a 45 mph zone). Clown behavior. And these are the supposed leaders of the team.
Nesta has always struck me as a poor man's Gerald Willis. Loose cannon with a penchant for immaturity but minus Willis' one time potential athletic upside.

Only Manny and Golden could ruin a good old fashioned fight with an idiotic quote.

Maybe not only them.. i could see Butch Jones, PJ Fleck, and a few more of those guys saying something like that.

Dang,
...I was looking for a "They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance..." moment from Manny, ....as he goes down with the punch.

...instead he gives me child birth and miracles????

If that doesn’t get warriors ready to kill I’m not sure what will. Next week he’ll tell them about periods and how bleeding for five days without dying is also a miracle.

Well, then Manny's a walking miracle. He's been getting *** raped on the field for 3 years running now and has been bleeding since.

There’s never been a culture , that was always bs coach talk. The culture is far worse now that under richt.

I tried to have this discussion with someone here a while ago. Manny is not a real coach. He does not have a "cult of personality" that real coaches have.

Manny was surviving on the fact that D'Eriq King had that leadership personality. Now that King is done playing we're seeing the wheels falling off.
