Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. Just get clean house now. This is the most troubling comment I've seen.

I’m sure no contact was made. They have contacted anyone all seasonTbh when I said they should be hitting each other in practice this isn't what I meant...
Richt was a disciplinarian. He was just burnt out. Having a burnt out disciplinarian is far better than what Diaz offers. There’s never been a culture , that was always bs coach talk. The culture is far worse now that under richt.
These are the circumstances that create strong leaders. There is so much testosterone in a football locker room that sometimes it really comes down to the true alphas asserting themselves over the others. These same guys weren't speaking up but Manny created a climate where they are forced to. Manny knew he had no real leaders in the locker room. He wanted players to hold other players accountable and its working.Nah. What you're talking about only works when you have strong leadership in place - and not just the coach. If it were upperclassmen fighting the young guys for slack effort ahead of a big game when the season still has meaning, then I'd agree with you.
Don't kid yourself. This is only the beginning of the team unravelling.

Leaders will come out of this.
I do not want to see a replay of the Virginia game. Thanks.
This happened at EVERY SINGLE FOOTBALL TEAM I PLAYED ON...FROM 9TH GRADE ALL THE WAY TO 4 YEARS OF COLLEGE............EVERY SZN LOLApparently punches were being thrown during Canes practice. One player almost decked a defensive assistant, so it must have been some battle.
Barry Jackson delivered that info so... Idk what to say rn, whether thats a good thing or a bad thing.
edit: mr. 15-0 told me to add something, so here: if the coach would have been decked, it would have been an accident. he tried to break it up and almost got popped himself (which is why i dont go into fights)
reason why they fought is because they ran sprints for penalties. if you dont show full effort, the whole group that you are in has to run the sprints all over again. some players apparently didnt, hence the fight.
player meeting happened afterwards, without the coaches being present. manny made another stupid comparison after that meeting that i dont even want to quote here...
Stop recruiting snowflakesThe fight isn’t the issue , that’s the nothing. It’s the high school girls locker room gossip and drama causing the fights. I’ve been around football my entire life and I’ve never heard stories like I’ve heard with this team. It’s almost as unbelievable as the miracle of child birth.
Any elaboration? The fight isn’t the issue , that’s the nothing. It’s the high school girls locker room gossip and drama causing the fights. SH*T IM TRYING TO REMEMBER WHEN HE WAS SCARED OF COMPETITION TO?.**** when did he want to transfer
If somebody like Mario came in kids would have to leave or change habits and fast. He’s the opposite of manny. Imo most of these kids what to be coached hard but it’s hard to take this whole thing serious. Especially when you don’t respect the coach.Any elaboration?
Or is it just way worse than what we imagined? Can a new coach even stop this rot?
Can you provide an example without divulging names? The fight isn’t the issue , that’s the nothing. It’s the high school girls locker room gossip and drama causing the fight. Hard to respect a shrimpfvck who never played and has a horrendous scheme and talks out of his *** like a politician all the time.If somebody like Mario came in kids would have to leave or change habits and fast.
