He's very underrated. Now he gets to work with Chandler Whitmer as his QB coach, co-OC. I think IU is a great spot for him. He will play in the NFL. UGA should have upped their NIL offer. He is better than Gunner Stockton.

This has circled back around to the other thing, but your larger point still stands.

I wouldn’t go so far The Kid Has some very attractive things. There was once a Similar Prospect 25 ago at Michigan who had a Similar kind of Profile 6’4 5, Decent Arm ,More Mobility with Tons of intangibles Like Mendoza.
That former Michigan QB was even bieng Pushed out By A Young Hot Shot at Michigan. Turn out to be Pretty Good .
Let you Guess who that was……..
Don’t underestimate a kids Heart
I can see it…Columbus, Cuban, elite superior, Brady / GOAT, I totally see the connection.

I stand with @Memnon on this one. Mendoza is a nice college QB, but his NFL potential will be akin to Kurtis Rourke (a nice college QB).
I agree with you and @Memnon. I don’t see him as a first round type barring a major physical leap.

But he is a very good college talent with the potential to be drafted. The initial reaction to him on this board sold him way short.

didnt this fool throw an interception to the slowest LB of all time kiko?

The one who was drafted by the National Football League as a professional football player?

Wow....T's and P's to the literal every single other LBs on the planet who were faster and Kiko and didn't get drafted. I'm going to Chipotle later, I'll see if there are any former linebackers in there and offer my condolences.

can we wait till he makes the final roster first bc he might be there soon enough

I compared Mendoza to ‘99 Michigan y
6th round pick Brady.
Brady the Self Made Greaest ever No.
That is a credit to Brady.
Don’t get it Twisted Brady was a 6th Rounder that Was Being Push out By a 5 Star Drew Henson Hot Shot recruit.

Tom Brady in College was not an All American or All Confrence Player.

Go back & watch.

Oh yes, let’s use Tom Brady as an example

Not the other hundred something QBs who fit Mendoza’s profile

Trumpycane wants to know if you also compare every two star recruit to Ed Reid

Tom Brady For As Legendary he was in the Pros was nothing more than a Solid Qb in College.I Saw him Play,Drew Henson Was Better in College , So were a Lot of other Wolverine Qb.

Go watch the Brady 6,Tom Brady Story Maybe 🤔 Closer to Rocky the Movie 🎥 than real Life. Credit To Tom Brady Grit Lion Heart or Whatever …… His 40 yard Run 🏃‍♂️ & Body is an infamous Meme .

Stop ✋ with Tom Brady of Michigan .
There not the same QBs — Brady Skills took a quantum leap between Michigan two or three years with the Patriots. That’s still two or three more years of development.
It’s vey Munch Like Joe Burrow of LSu Ohio St & LSu Before He caught fire 🔥 at the end of his Junior Season.

Absolutely. A Kurtis Rourke is a star at the college level.

It's easy to forget, but out of thousands of college football players, to be one of ~255 players drafted will almost always mean you were a star college player or a physical freak.

Mendoza is a good college QB that Miami could win with. I definitely sold him short calling him a rich man's Emory. He's better than that.

He's just not Carson Beck (who I have always had an affinity for and maybe haven't moved off that prior far enough, but I think his high end outcomes are just a different tier).
