No ****. The idea was absolutely ridiculous in the first place.

the focus should be on firing blake james and purging everyone that has anything to do with football.

Delegating some aspects of james and manny diaz’s job to highsmith is LOL worthy and changes nothing.

zo is too smart to take a fake job.

Ferman is a moron. He just posted that with Lashlee's uptempo offense, "means the defense is gonna have to be on the field a lot more and if the results decline there Manny will not be happy".

Did he forget that we had the worst 3rd down conversion in football and offense couldn't stay on the field AT ALL.

If he's too smart for a fake job then why interview at all and why not put the whole thing to be days ago when it came up.

The job is what the job is and everyone involved knows it. It's not like in talking to Miami that Highsmith would've found out something was unaware of.

One thing I think that was missed about possible Zo hire is the possibility of Zo hiring NFL scouts to help evaluate talent in recruiting. I recognize he is also a former scout himself. Imagine the talent he could have assembled here. Not to mention his local connections. Crazy if true that he isn't coming.

If he comes or not, he shouldn’t be involved in hiring the OC. If he is involved in coaching decisions beyond HC, it makes it difficult to later place blame solely on HC.

Now get him in here to learn the AD stuff.
Exactly! It would make absolutely no sense for him to be directly involved in the OC decision. Whoever takes this role should be independent of of whoever is on staff rn
