Ferman says Hightower wants back in

Yes the coaching was terrible, but none of the other guys quit the team mid season.

There’s a difference.

Personally don’t care if they bring him back but the fact remains he did pitch a fit and leave his teammates who were being coached by the same guys.

That is a good point on the surface but you know deejay and Brevin for example are going to be treated different than your run off the mill player.

We don't know if he was especially azzholish to certain players (especially if they have connections to the program and have family letting fans know the truth). I wouldn't put it past Enos to have a vendetta

Gary is saying that he would hire Highsmith. Gary tries to make his opinion sound like fact and truth to get clicks.

If Manny was to choose Hightower as the sacrificial lamb for the “culture change” he is trying (and failing) to sell people on.

It’s basically a big f*ck you to the former players like Dee who are pushing for the admin to make changes that can actually save this program.

Coaches who start distancing themselves from the alumni know they are dead men walking.

The upside to letting him back is he doesn’t count towards your 25 (which is our issue) and we don’t even have a path to getting to 85 scholarships with our current numbers.

it gives more spring depth and allows you to have an actual third team in practice.

I see the argument for making an offer mean something, or once you quit that’s it, but the portal has changed the game and kids get confused. Saban has let several kids back on after they entered the portal.

Just when I thought I heard it all...you come up with this Gem.....Wasnt too Slow and Stiff as he eviscerated 4 and 5* DBs at several camps 2yrs ago.....
Cmon bruh..don’t bring up camp circuits from HS lol..kid quit on the team..i was against letting JT4 come back also..and he is not a Jeff Thomas talent

Can’t keep letting quitters back in. Culture is shot
Man, I keep saying the same thing. Hightower is a talent, for sure, but what signal does it send to everyone else? Hey, it's cool to quit. We'll fire coaches and bring you back if you want. Seriously? How the heck is this good for the culture? This team needs leaders, and I just don't see guys that quit as leaders. Imagine, for a second, Miami firing a coach and bringing back Bryan Fortay. How would that have worked back in the day? Same with the guy that quit when Bernie won the job. Kyle whatever his name was.

I get their frustration, but you just can't quit in life. There are always consequences. Even if Manny lets him back, it makes Manny look weak. We all know how that ends for coaches. The second you look weak, it's over. Manny already isn't respected or feared, and this would make him look like the ultimate pushover.

But hey, the same fans that have cried all year long about Manny endorse having Hightower back. And we wonder why there is a culture problem.

Not surprised a bunch of cucks are ok with getting stepped out on while their significant other looks for better options only to welcome them back with open arms when the better option wasn't found. No difference here. Keep jerking yourselves off in the corner while you cry about why players don't uphold "the legacy."

I would take Hightower back because we need size at WR. He must sincerely apologizes to the team for his selfish act then move on. I'm sure most of these players are super happy Enos is gone and I'm sure Hightower is one of them.

When you have a family member constantly airing his perceived dirty laundry on a message board that’s the chance you take.

no way bro, you gotta let everyone back in bro, Saban does it bro.

When Manny commands the same respect Nick ******* Saban does in the locker room, then Manny can let anyone back that he wants to. Until that day comes and Manny is no longer deemed a ***** then he needs to set the tone and culture of the team, and that means telling guys that hit the portal to go **** themselves.

I don’t believe it. But, if it is true. You bring him back. He’s got a talent and He’s got Cane blood.
It's not true. He would consider it based on who's brought in. But Gary vermin or anyone else hasnt been told one word about him WANTING back. It's a possibility as hes definitely been asked to come back. Well just have to see.

Stop it....He has alot of talent....those weren't just ordinary camp circuits...His coaching was Trash....and please don't start with the "Stubblefield is a Good WR coach" BS.....No he's not....Go watch film of UM teams WR Units from the 90s too the early to mid 2000s....watch the route running...watch the practices...watch the results....You simply cannot hire a WR coach from Air Force...and of all places drop his *** off at Hecht...

So, young Hightower wants a chance to come back and remove the stain of a quitter that he tarnished his reputation with? It pleases Canedog that young Hightower has seen the error of his decision to quit the team mid season.

He is young and if the team approves letting this young mang back, let him come back. It takes a real mang to come back to a team that just got lit up the way Miami did by the Louisiana Tech Mud Dogs.

Who would he like at OC and also I cry laughing at the "stumblefaggot" nickname

You guys make **** up and spread it as fact. He never said anyone pulled a gun on Hightower.

I framed it as a question, as that is what I recall but maybe misread it. If I did misread it I apologize. I don't spread rumors and stop referring to me in plural. It's getting kind of weird.

Ok good to hear. I figured it was him being asked and not doing the asking.

I know it was a few years back but when I watched him in the AA game man he was so f*cking smooth. We need to develop this type talent and stop blaming the kids. Hopeful he can reach his potential in a Canes uniform
