Wish someone would ask Mario about the special teams struggles aka why do punt returners still catch the ball inside the 10...
they did during the postgame press conference

he actually had a funny response but it was clear he acknowledged it as a problem

I agree but UM should be able to match what Bama offers (though apparently Notre Dame could not for Rees).
Makes you wonder if Notre Shame saw Bama’s offer as their only opportunity to get rid of their alum OC last year and pulled one of these…

Mario mentioned that Cam and the other players who missed Thursday’s night game are progressing nicely. However, did anybody find Guidry’s response to a question on leadership somewhat revealing on Mesidor’s injury status? Guidry said players like Cam, James, and Mesidor…when healthy…are the leaders of the defense.

Doesn’t sound like Mesidor is able to practice just yet. That’s not earth shattering news but confirms what many have said about his injury being more serious than the others.

Note: When asked about Deen he didn’t say a word about his injury. He affirmed that Deen was a non-vocal leader and is going to have a great season.

Still wild that we were down 17-7 and lost our two most important DL and Guidry found a way to limit A&M with guys like Gore logging minutes

In hindsight it may have been more impressive than beating Notre Dame with Marshall

Not sure people totally grasp how critical Mesidor is to our defense
