I love our coaches man
I think we will be able to get through Temple regardless, but it won't be as polished on defense as I'd like (ideally a shutout LOL). Fortunately, GT is 10/7, which is a substantial amount of time to get at least one of them ready.Still wild that we were down 17-7 and lost our two most important DL and Guidry found a way to limit A&M with guys like Gore logging minutes
In hindsight it may have been more impressive than beating Notre Dame with Marshall
Not sure people totally grasp how critical Mesidor is to our defense
Nope. Sorry. You gotta wait until game day for that brother. It also has to be its own thread on gameday or the night before.I'm nervous about Temple. Somebody tell me we roll
This has to be a 20 year parody.Lord Jesus Susan with a question about crowd noise leading up to the Temple game. This HAS to be a side gig for her, this can't possibly be her actual job.
Yeah it’s tough to really have expectations with the defense when you’re missing arguably your best 3 playersI think we will be able to get through Temple regardless, but it won't be as polished on defense as I'd like (ideally a shutout LOL). Fortunately, GT is 10/7, which is a substantial amount of time to get at least one of them ready.
Its odd because that seems to be an issue throughout college football this year, not just with Miami. I've seen so many punt returners fielding the ball inside the ten. Don't know what happened to the standard of planting you feet on the 10 and only moving to field the ball if it is landing in front of that line.Wish someone would ask Mario about the special teams struggles aka why do punt returners still catch the ball inside the 10...
It started in that Florida Utah game I remember Florida’s return man try to return it and it backfired. Its odd because that seems to be an issue throughout college football this year, not just with Miami. mad props to @Midlo Cane Fan for posting all the snippets.
These coordinators are such a refreshing upgrade.
No one asked however, what was encouraging was Guidry said they did cut ups off all the defensive negative plays, missed assignments etc., from all the games this season so they can review them on film, correct the mistakes, and practice against them as they know they will see them again. I would have to assume edge containment, the wide open flats, the wheel route in these games had to be noticed and hopefully addressed...Did anyone ask Guidry about the issues we’ve had with the wheel route?
