No problem with it.

Baseball is the sport where the coach has the least affect on the in-game outcome.

Except for the part about recruiting and developing the players who have to perform in-game. Other than that, they don't have much of an impact.

The one area where a baseball manager has the most in-game impact is making the right pitching moves........

At some point, the coaches have to be responsible for either recruiting or developing this bullpen that you claim is so bad.

Agreed.

But it's not a managing issue.

He has to make a choice in the moment based on what he knows. His choice was reasonable.

Keysor didn't get the memo about not giving up any runs.

++ Defensive alignment, calls pitches, changes pitchers, pinch hits, sac bunts, steals and on and on

1 < 5

2 runs allowed by the bullpen in three games against FAU.

You clowns really don't know this?

Wow.

This board is full of idiots.

Of course, your statement ignores the fact that the head coach is responsible for having all of the right pieces so that the in-game performance is good more often than it's bad. How long has Gino been in charge of recruiting this time around?

Gino has been in charge of recruiting.
The bullpen is terrible.

But it's not Gino's fault if the bullpen doesn't perform. (y)

Your closer is your last resort.

That's a performance issue, not a managerial one.

Closer is an ambiguous term this year. Federman struggled, failed, and only then did Veliz begin warming up before swooping in and ending the inning, but the damage was done. Put away the stupid pills.
