Nothing like a little comic relief. I particularly like the poster who said it could be "close ish".

LOL at these bafoons who just let an fcs team drop 5 hundo yards on them thinking they can come remotely close to us.

We just need to
"Play to perfection "
Meaning play sound fundamentals and execution.
If we have rely on talent alone to beat them it will spell problems down the road.

Worrying about FAU while watching the Noles getting spanked is like having a mosquito buzzing around while your banging a hot chick. It's so small of a threat that you don't even think about swatting it until you get done.

Taking them serously for a second, I'm still convinced that the rest of the country and state fail to realize just how horrendous of a coach Golden was...

And he beat them 44-20.
I agree with this assertion. I was arguing with a bunch of fans from other schools on Twitter after Stuart Mandel made some snarky *** comment about how the Grace/AQM suspensions might force Mimai fans to stop having delusional expectations for this season. I made the point that the ACCC is weak and there is no reason we cannot compete for the conference championship. Mandel and others jumped all over me with comments like "it's the same schedule you had last year", and "you haven't had a 10 win season in years", etc. It's like they truly do not comprehend just how bad our coaching has been and just how much of an upgrade Richt represents.

I think we shock the world and beat Miami. Remember that we almost beat them last year, and they lose a lot of talent. They were not that good then… and they are not that good now.

Trey Hendrickson will eat. I don't see anyone on Miami's roster who can match his production. Azeez Al-Shaair and Nate Ozdemir will play up to their potential. So I really don't see them moving the ball that well against us.

We showed a lot of heart last week against SIU with how we fought them off.

But let's take a closer look at Miami. Their QB Kaaya is overrated as they come - dude can't throw on the move for the life of him and he requires a perfect pocket to make a decent throw. The kid is straight-up soft. All we have to do is get a good pass rush on them and we can shut him down boys. Hendrickson will tattoo that string bean.

Their running game looked legit, but that was FAMU. I say their offensive line looked horrible.

But what I really see this game is as an opportunity for our offense to break out - and we're overdue. But IMO Driskell has shown flashes and honestly, the Miami secondary is is mostly true freshman running around lost out there. We will have plenty of opportunities to light them up.

They hired a new coach - Mark Richt was fired at Georgia for losing too much. In fact he had the same record as Al Golden last year.

I say FAU rolls. FAU over Miami by two touchdowns.

Done

Ya ok

If goldens team won 8 last year, richt will win at least 1 or 2 more games with similar schedule, fuq Stuart Mandel and his mouse face

We're not gonna lose.

Anyone who follows high school football in South Florida knows that it isn't the highly rated teams that win, it's the one who is scrappy and fights and who has that mental edge. Anyone can beat anyone, and we're back to basics. We have athletes that can hang with theirs, and ours are not a bunch of glass-jawed, entitled, 5 star prima donnas like the ones who UM is trotting out there. They're scrappy and they're gonna work and bring it.

UM is like St Thomas Aquinas… they have the players but they're gonna get whipped by a tougher team who wants it more.

We're gonna punch them in their glass jaw, and when they go down we're never letting them up. Miami doesn't scare me at all.

WHAT A GEM lol

FAU is over there laughing that they caused this much of an uproar on our board.Way to go facquits.

"Right now, Miami is no better than they were a year ago at this time. On the other hand, we have improved in some key areas. We have more speed on the defensive side of the ball. On offense watch for some imaginative play calls. Not tricks per se, but we might get the Miami D going the wrong way.

Last year we were tied in the 3rd qtr. The Coaches have to be preaching unfinished business from 2015. It's a funny game, a fumble, special teams play, …. so many things can turn a game.

The Canes are already promising an undefeated team going against FSU. Just saying…. they better not take this OWL team to lightly"

We're no better than last year. Except an experienced OL, 3 stud LBs, Gerald Willis being able to finally play, and oh, a whole new football staff who wont let them play **** poor football like the previous **** ups did

Our running game and conditioning is better. Our lines are better on both sides of the ball.

Twitter is infamous for delusionholes'. Some of my favorites:

"he had all of that talent at UGA and still didn't win jack" -Failing to realize that the Coastal doesn't have anyone on Tennessee's, or even Mizzou's, level except UNC and maybe VT; we'll find out Saturday. Different situation and quite honestly, Kaaya is better than any QB he's coached. He also has more to work with on offense compared to the last 4-5 years at Georgia.

"The facilities were better, he had more access to recruiting, but lost to Treon Harris twice". He accounted for 1 TD in both games lol. The great Jeremy Pruitt led a defense that allowed 400 yards rushing to UF in 2014 and UGA's 3rd string QB gift-wrapped 4 INTs in 2015. Those were the reasons.

We upgraded but some don't want to come to terms with it and or believe that we'll play the EXACT same.
