They hired a new coach - Mark Richt was fired at Georgia for losing too much. In fact he had the same record as Al Golden last year.

Don't know why I'm even responding but AG was 4-3 last year.
How do I tell this kid to give me a call in 45 years when Partridge reaches Richt's current win total.

Geez, I thought my 1000th post was going to be a little more eventful than this.
 
I think we win big - 56-21. Both backs did well last year and it will be worse this year.
 
I see the Canes winning this one easily only thing FAU can hope to claim is that they did not lose as badly as FAMU did against Miami.

This is nothing new and it happens everywhere. Every team has delusional fans who totally abandon logic and feel their team can beat any juggernaut. I'd say a majority of their fans are probably just hoping it stays close like last season and not get embarrassed too badly. When I was at UCF in the late 90's there were guys talking about going undefeated and all kinds of nonsense. TBH the highlight of my freshman year was leading #1 Nebraska at the half. They came out in the second half and scored like 35 unanswered points tough.

I go to ucf now.. Believe me it's gotten worse

UCF has had some recent success but at the time I was there, they were just making the transition from 1-AA to D-1. Daunte Culpepper was our quarterback. I believe we went 9-2 in 1998 as an independent but got no bowl bid.
