Lingard makes this list

One thing is clear Miami has one of the fastest teams we have had in years especially at the skill positions.

Several rbs that are very fast
Pope, Richards, Harley and Thomas are blurs

Even fast tight ends in Jordan and Mallory

Lingard 4.27 in team testing? ****! Gotta give some love to Marquis "Hollywood" Brown from my hometown Hollywood, FL!

At 100m, yes. At 40yd? Not so sure.
Schwartz is ridiculously fast on the football field too, idk about that man. Jeff Thomas has elite speed in that 40 yard range too though but not like Schwartz. That kid will run under a 4.22 at the combine imo

Just going to go on a limb here and say LoLingard is not that fast. He looks like a glorified Graig Cooper. 5'11, 200 pounds running a 4.5.

Run's upright, quick stop/start, quick to reach top speed. But 4.27? My gut just tells me different.

10.7 100 meter, probably would have run a 10.5 or lower if he ran this spring in highschool

That's some speed; can't lie. Also, I hope he is that fast and it translates to the field.

I just really am not as sold on LoLingard as I was Duke Johnson, with both players being ranked 5 stars out of HS. I felt like Duke was going to be a UM HOF, but I don't feel or see the same hype for Lo.

I'm banking on Scout\Rivals\247Sports knowing something I don't. Maybe he blows up to be 6 foot 225 pounds looking like Adrian Peterson. Maybe he plays like Telvin Coleman. Not knowing is bugging tf out of me if you couldn't tell lol.

Compare the situations duke walked into specifically the backfield talent or lack there of outside of mike James in year 1. We have an established guy and far more talent so the opportunity is not the same that duke had to take over his freshman year

Very, very true. I mean, who is the premier 3rd down back at Miami today?. Homer is fast/explosive, DJ is smooth/natural/good hands, and Lo is, by all accounts, explosive. To your point, Lo has a ton of competition this year.

Idk, we will see when the games starts. But both homer and Dallas are excellent pass catching running backs so we need to scheme up some things for them on third downs in the passing game too

Idk... it would prolly be close in the 40 Thomas ran a laser 4.38 Schwartz 4.34. Thomas smoked Henderson and everybody else at the openning finals.

Tyreek Hill went to the same HS that I graduated from, but I’d long moved away by the time he got there. I grew up with a bunch of his family, though.
