So if this happens will people still be thrilled when TVD moves on from the program, or will all the "lack of leadership" drivel be forgotten?
One would assume this is rhetorical.......lolSo if this happens will people still be thrilled when TVD leaves for the draft, or will all the "lack of leadership" drivel be forgotten?
Anybody that goes back and watch 2021 TVD when he was in wide open offense knows he should COOK this season.. I expect 35+ TDs.So if this happens will people still be thrilled when TVD moves on from the program, or will all the "lack of leadership" drivel be forgotten?
It will be forgotten at the same rate that "Mario only knows bro ball offense" will be.So if this happens will people still be thrilled when TVD moves on from the program, or will all the "lack of leadership" drivel be forgotten?
If we average 37.8 per game, that's at LEAST 10 wins. I'd expect Smith and Wingo to jump on board if we make that kind of jump lol
Yet another offseason championship in the books boys. Time to raise the banner in the IPF.
Agreed, but Big Manny is a cORcH on offense until proven otherwise.37 pts per game, sign me the **** up! 9 win minimum with that production!
Hopefully he gives the keys to the offense to Dawson and he just acts as CEO. Let his coaches coach.Agreed, but Big Manny is a cORcH on offense until proven otherwise.
I’m optimistic, but this board is feeling pretty bipolar over the last few weeks. Does anyone remember the recruiting Armageddon from 4th of July or nah?
Pray we survive the Cristobal Invitational starting in a couple weeks..All things being equal and assuming we don't hit another unusual rash of injuries, my expectation (including the bowl game) is between 9-11 wins. With this talent, with this coaching staff and with an overwhelming feeling that we are just due a good season (what the football gods did for us in 2017), I think it's unlikely we dip below 9 wins, but I've been wrong about the Canes for so many years, what do I know....?
See, That's one of the BIGGEST reasons why I still have us pegged at 6-6; 7-5.All things being equal and assuming we don't hit another unusual rash of injuries, my expectation (including the bowl game) is between 9-11 wins. With this talent, with this coaching staff and with an overwhelming feeling that we are just due a good season (what the football gods did for us in 2017), I think it's unlikely we dip below 9 wins, but I've been wrong about the Canes for so many years, what do I know....?
Let me ask you this? What were those numbers in TVD’s breakout 2021 stretch of 3 TD’s and 300 yards per game?37.8 PPG would've ranked 9th in the country last year.
He also has us at 477 yards per game, which would have been 12th.
Yeah...to say this is optimistic isn't doing it justice. If we put up 38 PPG on 475+ yards per game and convert 47% of our 3rd downs, we're winning the ACC. I'd take even halfway between what we did last year and this pipe dream. That's still probably a Top 40 offense.
