Fan nation projects 2023 offensive stats.

Lmao. That would be an insane jump. Not saying it's impossible but.....highhhhllllyyyyy improbable.

Add a TD to PPG and that's a little more realistic, albeit probably somewhat conservative. ~31 PPG should be enough to get us 8 wins.

37.8 PPG would've ranked 9th in the country last year.

He also has us at 477 yards per game, which would have been 12th.

Yeah...to say this is optimistic isn't doing it justice. If we put up 38 PPG on 475+ yards per game and convert 47% of our 3rd downs, we're winning the ACC. I'd take even halfway between what we did last year and this pipe dream. That's still probably a Top 40 offense.

If we average 37.8 per game, that's at LEAST 10 wins. I'd expect Smith and Wingo to jump on board if we make that kind of jump lol

I’m trying so god **** hard not to get my expectations up

If we can win against Texas AM sign me up for all the kool-aid

Agreed, but Big Manny is a cORcH on offense until proven otherwise.

I’m optimistic, but this board is feeling pretty bipolar over the last few weeks. Does anyone remember the recruiting Armageddon from 4th of July or nah?
Hopefully he gives the keys to the offense to Dawson and he just acts as CEO. Let his coaches coach.

All things being equal and assuming we don't hit another unusual rash of injuries, my expectation (including the bowl game) is between 9-11 wins. With this talent, with this coaching staff and with an overwhelming feeling that we are just due a good season (what the football gods did for us in 2017), I think it's unlikely we dip below 9 wins, but I've been wrong about the Canes for so many years, what do I know....?

Pray we survive the Cristobal Invitational starting in a couple weeks..

See, That's one of the BIGGEST reasons why I still have us pegged at 6-6; 7-5.

ANOTHER unusual rash of injuries.... I fully expect another rash of injuries to key starters across position groups.

Just come together as a team with the young talent and show some fight all year; after the first few injuries happen in the beginning of the season.- through the injuries that will lilkely happen when we least need them as the season wears on.

Let me ask you this? What were those numbers in TVD’s breakout 2021 stretch of 3 TD’s and 300 yards per game?
We have a much better offensive roster than that year.. why is that not possible?
