Some of this may be repetitve but here are Gaby and Lake's observations this morning:

DL: first team lined up: Akheem Mesidor, Leonard Taylor, Darrell Jackson, Chantz Williams. Antonio Moultrie mixed in a rep at Darrell Jackson’s spot before they made it out to Williams on the edge.

Mitchell Agude backed up Mesidor over the left tackle with Jake Litchenstein lined up beside him on the inside. Allan Haye then rotated in, followed by Ahmad Moten, and then Nyjalik Kelly off the edge.

OL: First team offensive line, left to right group appearing as: John Campbell, Jalen Rivers, Jakai Clark, Justice Oluwaseun, and DJ Scaife.
Matthew McCoy, Laurence Seymore, Ousman Traore, Logan Sagapolu, and Chris Washington looked like the second group.

I like college football infinitely more than the NFL but the one thing that irks me is the secrecy surrounding injuries. Is Citizen out for the year? A month? A day?
Injury history can affect when a guy gets drafted so I feel like colleges try to keep this stuff as quiet as possible.

David Lake: Today was hottest day of practice so far. Team was in shells and Lake felt the coaches were being particularly proactive in hyping up the team during stretches, maybe because of the heat, etc. "from the little bit we watched, it seemed like one of those “dog days of camp” type of practices. It will be interesting to learn if the team picks up the energy as the practices progresses."

-TVD continues to be on a different level than the others with his ball placement in drills.
-During the fade ball drills, Van Dyke and freshman Jacurri Brown threw the best balls.

-Jaylan Knighton was first RB in drills; Parrish was second.

-Xavier Restrepo had the best energy amongst the wide receiver group during drills and that sets him a part from a group that has a tendency of going through the motions at times.

-During a combo block drills, left tackle John Campbell and left guard Jalen Rivers do a nice job of handling defensive tackle Leonard Taylor on two reps (which should be expected).

Looks like the official roster has been updated, too - not sure the weights are updated but the names/numbers etc seem to be

They don't even have Caleb Johnson on the roster.

Whoever is responsible for maintaining the roster on the UM site really sucks lol.
