This time last year, all I heard about was how stacked the QB class would be in the 26 draft. Look how that turned out. If we have the season we expect to have, Mensah will not only put himself in the Heisman conversation, but will be on one of the top QBs in the draft.

Mensah didn't come here to play for two years. He wants to go pro next year, and Canes fans should all be rooting for the same

Arch still hasn’t looked like a first round qb
Leavitt still hasn’t looked like a first round qb
Sellers still hasn’t looked like a qb
Moore **** down his leg against Indiana, and had a 3:5 TD:int against the 4 good teams they played
Mestemaker didn’t light the world on fire against the best teams UNT played
Chambliss is 5’8
Carr and Sayin both have 1 year of starting experience

It’s WAY too early to proclaim a draft will be loaded at qb

I dont mean this to come across as combative, but do you know him personally? How do you know what he has planned for the future?

Going pro is not as cut and dry as it used to be. NIL has changed the game. You can make a **** ton of money and have an easier life for an extra year. Maybe he doesnt like the team with the first pick, or whatever pick youre slotted to go.

****, Dante Moore, who was the #2 pick in the draft at worst last year, decided to return to school.

Exactly, we are recruiting better than they are in the OL imo. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t contribute but this freshman class is pushing.

I feel like it’s almost impossible barring injuries right?

Was curious if maybe he gets some reps in the return game. I know it’s not all about speed but the kid is game breaker potential

Great point, injuries happen, depth used to be a major concern and is at LB and C but I feel like we have stacked talented classes and portal guys where it’s next guy up and you may not get your job back.

It seems like only a matter of time before this entire thing just gels... 2024, historically good offense with a historically bad defense. 2025 both O and D stepped up to be top 10, OL and DL strengths of the team by far, skill positions could have used some love.

I know its too early to call but all the reports are skill position and DBs are the strength of this team, likely to have a very good O and D again, good QB, and now the ??? are the OL and DL.

It's legit not a good thing everyone keeps saying Moore needs to be more consistent. Still very early.

Upshaw may be similar to Barkate. Not too many people would say he looks like a 1,000 yard WR. But the ball finds him.
