Fall Practice Summary- Day 6

This is good to read!

I think with our defense we will be good with any of the three QBs.

I actually went these past few weeks and watched all of our 2018 games again.

The thing with Kosi, is when he is on...... he is really on. UNC, VT, GT, and FIU were great games from him.

After watching the games again I think Miami beats UVA if Mark Richt didn’t pull the kid after the two picks. He led a **** of a comeback against FSU feeding off the defense 2nd half energy I think he could have pulled the same at least with UVA.

I think we beat BC with Kosi as well. Don’t forget it was 17-14 BC going into halftime. I would have loved to see Kosi come out there 2nd half with Malik’s struggles.

Miami owned Duke across the board and still lost is like LOL.

GT turnovers killed Miami.

With that being said what a **** waste of a season. TBH even with Rosier/Perry and Mark Richts play calling that team could have EASILY finished 11-1 to end the year.

Based off of that alone I’m more optimistic about this year with these QBs.

the other thing is how this team bounces back from a devastating loss (if it happens, of course). there were quotes saying how the team went into a shell (despite the W-L following LSU). we may or may not beat UF, but the team needs to remain confident and strong as the season doesnt end on 8/24. obviously, we need to beat UF bc we cant take a year of them chirping.

Idk what's more prevelant, people complaining, or people complaining about the people complaining.

I think the big issue is not pulling Kosi in the Virginia game. They should have sat him down, going "this is what they are doing to you", and you are going to go back in in a couple of series. Every young QB has a stinker in their first big road game, but by not putting him back in the game they kinda gave up on him.

How did Wiggins do?!? Kid has immense talent, but it's worth nothing if he can't catch the ball consistently

Just based off these practices it looks like tate is ahead right now but doesnt seem like anyone has separated themselves.

i got the feeling that Jarren seemed to be ahead based on throwing. tates had some uneven days (as they all have). perry seemed to be doing better after a few uneven days. ****, theyre all similarly inconsistent at times. mike ryan said that tate is having troubles throwing to the outside but is good down the middle (he went to the saturday practice i think). i trust enos to figure this crap out

yeah, it really was textbook how not to handle a young QB having his first dud of a game.

I agree in trusting enos. Ive never got the feeling that jarren is ahead. Just maybe the most consistent so far.

i think thats what would determine the starter, though. obviously we dont really know whats going on other than these reports we get. i got the read that tate seemed to be falling behind the last few practices, but as i said before, these things change by the day. the first scrimmage should be interesting.

Oh definitely. The scrimmage will determine who starts.

I’m really glad all the QBs looked good but because of that this thread will have a very limited number of replies. Not a lot for the mopes to whine about with this one.
Just wait until I start a rumor that not only was one of Jarren’s passes uncatchable, it also seemed to be aimed at one of the coaches on the sidelines
