Y'all running out of narratives slowly but surely. First it was "he can't throw" that then turned into "but it wasn't a spiral" and now it's "he can't be under center".

Im waiting on the grand finale though. "it was never truly an open competition".

It’s ridiculous , then you have “fans” tweeting sh*t about the qb play posting false things from the practice where uf fans eating the sh*t up like it’s real , trying to make certain qbs seem like they were bad on day 1. That’s exactly why they don’t open up practice all the way because ****head fans blow sh*t out of proportion to fit whatever their agenda is

I think what a lot fans like myself feel is that Martell hasn't earned any of the hype he's getting. He had 1 good Spring scrimmage. That's it. Show me that you deserve to be the guy with play on the field. Rather looks like the job is being handed to him the way OSU handed the job to Fields because I haven't seen anything to justify running with the 1's on day 1. Manny spinning some garbage about Martell's Summer workouts has put him in this position. I'm not buying it. You can't earn anything in Summer workouts. Summer workouts only prepare you to earn the job in the Fall. How can coaches evaluate Summer workouts that are run by the players themselves?

So, how's he lining up with the 1's on day 1? Just jumped to the top base on Summer workouts?

I'm glad he worked hard. Nothing bitter. I have no horse in this race. How does Summer workouts earn you the first team reps? I just don't want the QB job handed to anyone. If the starting QB doesn't truly "earn it", there will be a divided fanbase and locker room.

I don't know about Denzel Ward, but if he can have a Frosh season like Malek Young, count me in. We need dudes with great feet.

There's a reason why Deion (Primetime) @ the UA game said that Te'cory was a DOG. That is not something he would say in jest. Te'cory is a legitimate cover corner that has the ability to play press man. God bless Malek but there is no comparison between him and this player.

The coaches know that’s y there were lifters of the week every week and the coaches knew about the conditioning

What is wrong with your reading comprehension? Manny and others said that Tate started with the first team BECAUSE HOW HE PERFORMED IN THE SUMMER. doesn't mean he wins the starting QB role.

So basically you're saying that this was never a true open competition? I'm waiting to hear someone say it.

In summer camp u see who really has work ethic. You're not starting any QB who doesn't have a work ethic and got outworked by a preferred walk on.
