Crown him
I legit have to think he could be the number two qb as a freshman given how bad the other two options are.
Crown him
I hope you are right about SMU. If I can make it to that game I will go.Agree on that. BUT Friday night in Blacksburg is DIFFERENT. I think the system they run is also a easy system to transition into.. I also think SMU REALLY has y'all fooled on here. I think the only thing that would've made that game slightly closer than it should have been last season is our defense couldn't stop the girls YMCA consistently. At this point SMU doesn't impress me.
I’ve been to PSU for white out games against Michigan. Been to OSU. Some big games back in the day in Miami etcAgree on that. BUT Friday night in Blacksburg is DIFFERENT. Y’all need to stop acting like Beck is a scrub. Will the passing game be identical to last year? No, but there’s more than enough talent on the roster to where the passing game should be in the Top 30 nationally and that’s more than enough.Really need the D to step up becuase we dont have Cam to save us
Games are going to have to be won with the running game and defense

That **** in Blacksburg during Enter Sandman is some other ****. The Sandstorm thing in South Carolina is criminally underrated vibe as well
Michigan has a true freshman projected to start in game 1. And we see freshmen QB’s playing all over college football.I legit have to think he could be the number two qb as a freshman given how bad the other two options are.
OSU games are very overrated. It may look cool on TV, but that's only cause they can fit over 100,000 people. Considering how packed the stadium is, the shoe is really not that loud. Also, their bars, tailgates, and Block parties are very underwhelmingI’ve been to PSU for white out games against Michigan. Been to OSU. Some big games back in the day in Miami etc

This post is now officially @JHallCanes approved. Not to be that person, but Mario sounds and looks like he knows he’s got a squad

Most freshman aren’t the best option on their team but yes, there are some who are just more ready than others.Michigan has a true freshman projected to start in game 1. And we see freshmen QB’s playing all over college football.
There is no reason to think that a freshman a QB cannot be the number 2 at Miami. Especially a 2-time state champ in Georgia who processes information very rapidly.
I don’t know why UM supporters always seems so concerned about freshmen playing important roles when other schools are not. I’m not picking on you, just using your post as a catalyst for my argument.
So I guess I am “using” you in a benevolent manner![]()
Wonder what David Lake thinks. I remember his write-up after Nickel's 2 or maybe 3rd practice in Spring that he will never be the guy and wrote him off.I legit have to think he could be the number two qb as a freshman given how bad the other two options are.
Columbus is an incredibly soft city in generalOSU games are very overrated. It may look cool on TV, but that's only cause they can fit over 100,000 people. Considering how packed the stadium is, the shoe is really not that loud. Also, their bars, tailgates, and Block parties are very underwhelming
I didn’t know that. It’s a little soon to write him offWonder what David Lake thinks. I remember his write-up after Nickel's 2 or maybe 3rd practice in Spring that he will never be the guy and wrote him off.
And I am biased for Nickel after watching him play live and on TV the past 2 seasons. I just think he processes information so fast that the transition from high school to college won’t be too much for him. Most freshman aren’t the best option on their team but yes, there are some who are just more ready than others.
I’m pacing myself at the moment
I think we will see some real improvement from Nickel since the spring now that he's had time to really get into the playbook.
Why does a team from Florida need New Jersey numbers?
I grew up in Ann Arbor going to 3-5 Michigan games a year. The stadium is no louder than any other large crowd, in part because a lot of the noise isn’t trapped in the stadium due to its design.TrumpyCane heard the same about Michigan
Yea. It was actually practice 9 in the spring, said there isn't a future starter on the roster.I didn’t know that. It’s a little soon to write him off![]()
