Everytime i try to stop watching the canes..

That's a good question, I think because of the personalities of Miami, I love the ****iness when a team is good, and nobody can stop them. But truthfully, the first game I remember ever watching was the 2003 Fiesta Bowl, so I think I started rooting for them in that game and it just never stopped. My whole family is made up of Michigan fans, and I hate Michigan too, not sure if that plays into it. I was going to attend Miami for college, but didn't want to pay the tuition, so now I'm 100% cane til I die haha

LOL with that game I knew we were F'd when we had to kick off to start the second half, after having kicked off to start the game. That was an epic F-up.
 
No matter how bad for how long, there's a certainty in the back of my mind that we will be back.

Mostly because it's happened before.
 
When my emotions settle after a tough loss, I try to reason with myself," why, should I get this upset over a bunch of kids, that I dont even know? I'm done watching these scrubs" but **** if I am not right back again next week getting ****ed off again??
 
I LOVE the Miami Hurricanes -- I have loved them since 1983. I will love them until 2583. Saturdays watching our Canes play is a beautiful thing. Getting to attend at least one game per year is a highlight of my year.

I live in VA so on off years I see both UVA and VT. In other years I make a trek somewhere -- this year was down to Orlando.

I ***** and moan about our players/coaches/play-calling etc and I also remind anyone within earshot that your team is NOT ON THE SAME LEVEL as the Miami Hurricanes. It's like siblings, they can beat each other up but let someone from outside the family start something, whole family should bow up. That's my expectation as a fan. I'm not a cheerleader -- I'm a FAN. Way back in the dark days of Golden/D'Onofrio I had a crisis of faith. I walk into my bedroom and my children bought me a shirt with the U on it and below that -- LOYALTY. I relearned that "I can't quit you"

This, I will never stop watching even when they make me so frustrated. I feel like we are headed in a positive direction.

**** bad for my blood pressure, but I am there faithfully watching the game. One time my wife wanted to go IKEA ( i guess said yes the previous Saturday in the middle of watching the canes) on a Saturday.

I was ****ed, but saving grace, ikea TVs have basic cable. The canes were on, and sat my *** right in that ready made living room until she done shopping.

A few years ago I was driving south for the holidays and I blew out a tire. I had to get towed to a shop. I got delayed on my trip, purchase a new tire and watch us get beatdown by Washington State inside a Mr. Goodtire!!

My very first game in the Orange bowl, I was hooked ever since. Just look at this D, Amazing! I love the Canes and always will!

I was working overtime that day and we had to watch the game on and off on a tv with horrible reception. Wide Right 2 IIRC.
 
I started watching the Canes in 1992 and can't even fathom life without it. I've watched countless games from pre-1992, including several entire seasons.
 
When Mike Tyson went to prison, Don King told everyone that Mike Tyson will fight again and people are gonna pay to see it, except they’ll pay more.

I’m a believer that the Canes will be great again, and we are gonna be around to see it!
