ESPN's latest "Hot Board of 2014 Uncommitted Recruits"

they have dixon going to florida cause dwyer is a feeder to the GAYtors, espn isn't the greatest source for college football recruiting imo

That SOB D'Onofrio better pull some rabbits out of the hat during this year's schedule.

We could have a recruiting bonanza late if he can.

With Ermon, our chances depend strictly on our success this year. If we are a 10 win team and look like we are on the right track, Ermon and other blue chips will want to stay home.

I do think Lane is ours to lose if we have a relatively successful season, but as of right now I just don't see it. Let's hope the allure of playing with Waters and the pitch of helping bring the U back will be enough in the end.

I agree, we need one of those Cinderella type seasons to get him otherwise he is going to Alabama or UF, or he may jump to USC.

Win the ACC or at least go to the ACC title game and not get stomped and Lane is a Cane. Just my opinion. I think that's enough to make him realize we're on our way.

If our OL is anywhere near as good as they should be and Morris improves just a little along with Duke just being Duke, we win the ACC. You can mark that **** down.

I don't think Lane is ours to lose no matter what we do.

He'll commit to Bama and we'll find out we weren't even second for him.

It may not look great for us right now but to say we aren't second for him? I don't agree with that at all I just think we have to win and then he would be sold I just doubt it will be stronger then Bama

to me i think we have a better chance at lane then TR i dont think dude announces on national tv just to recommit, unless he just wants the attention (which i think lane does too)

I just scrolled the list on ESPN and apparently they believe that Fla is taking a class of about 50. ESPN = WOAT

As a Cane fan longer then anyone on this board I agree about the payoff junk. The SEC is the trend now for these kids. We have to wait until it runs it's course. The money thing is over stated and is loser talk and I for one am sick of hearing it as an excuse. We are still paying the price for a lite weight administration hireing Larry Coker followed by Randy Shannon that destroyed the best program in the country. We'll be back and the way we're going to do it is because we have a superior head coach that can win with their camp kids and creative recruiting.

I'm a big believer in Golden and have high hopes but he needs to earn the "coach that can win" moniker this year. And it can't be just recruiting. It's time to start winning games at UM again.

I tend to agree with you. Winning will do a lot to help our chances with a lot of guys but I don't think Lane is really one of them. Florida may have some struggles this year but it depends on how the chips fall because I think they'll play everybody close at least. Bama, however, is going to be **** good again this year so it's not like they won't be successful and we'll outshine them. They'll play well and the national media will slob them for it
