It's no stretch. It's legitimate. If we dont, its a failed season. We should not lose more than two regular season games. And if we do I'm going to be totally disappointed.

We should expect it. Got the schedule, roster, and staff. Get it done!

Let me clarify what I meant by "a stretch". I was referring to the expectations of what the national prognosticators and talking heads would predict for us. Yeah, I think it's probably a stretch to think that you'll see or hear a lot of people predicting 10 regular season wins for us but my point was also that the 6.5 mark by whatever sportsbook had that was also insane. I don't think it's a stretch for any of us to put the mark at 10 for what we'd deem a truly successful season. As Franchise said, if you buy into Kaaya and Richt then that's really where the mark should be with maybe some flexibility (depending on circumstances) to accept 9 wins and a dominant postseason.

Several posters predicted at least 10 wins this year and I guess the experts agree.

If there are any injuries at all to key personnel on this team, we will have a rough season. This team is really, really thin at many positions as a result of the a-hole who shall not be named here.

I disagree we are only thin at corner and to a lesser extent oline... But to your point, if any team loses key personnel they wont be the same. Ohio States QB situation during their last championship is the exception.

I would without a doubt take a 9 win season this year if one of those wins was against FSU, rather than win 10 and not beast FSU.

Everyone "expecting" 10 wins this year is an idiot. 10 wins this year would be a great season for us. Not saying we don't get 10, or that I don't think we get 10, I'm just saying, that that shouldn't be the expectation year 1.

couldn't disagree more. We have the best QB and a lot of talent returning. I fully expect to beat the teams we are favored to beat on the strength of coaching and talent. I also expect to beat FSU at home after the last two years and them coming in our newly renovated house with a new QB. IF, Kaaya stays healthy, 10 games is the expectation.

Well, that's just stupid....Unless you are including a bowl game in the 10 wins.
As far as the regular season goes, 10 wins as an expectation is ridiculous. The fact is FSU is more talented, and ND, UNC, and Vtech will be very tough games. We have a very hard month of October.
