Two guys challenging each other at an X's and O's conversation for ten posts, yet neither has stated the first X's and O's argument. This is offseason nonsense at it's finest.

I said scheme was advantage Miami...the broke 3O/flexbone is so outdated (think Service Acadamies and why they are forced.to.use.it) how does Johnson still have a HC position?

Now what I will.say is, athlete for athlete, I think GTs OL has better base, reach (or grab), angle1, and angle2 (called bucket), and trap/pull steps and.technique further enabled by their better overall athelticism (typing on small.smartphone with big hands...typos...deal.with it).

Hopefully Searles can coach up/out the streps and hand techniques...but talent? i just dont see it from this group.

who is the savage (to borrow a popular term here) on the OL?

just enjoy highlighting whatba fraud "one of the most respected members on CIS is..who apparantly is so awesome, other posters quiver in fear and are never heard from again"

i mean...this rhesus has an act...fun to watch the cymbals bang..i know.its.shallow..i.cant help.it..

my whole office is.getting great entertainment.value from.this though...slow Wednesday...

Then you would know with all that you just looked up on google that the scheme doesnt require the O-linemen to actually block defenders they attack the legs of defenders and dont actually engage with defenders, its a scheme that fits well bad O-linemen and again you back tracking from your original statement but go ahead and keep trying to cover your lack of knowledge with insults and crappy humor

We have been trying to have a conversation with you and bring up scheme and you keep dodging your original statements and shoot out insults with your jealousy of poster on the site

do you actually understand how OL are supposed to work?

they have 3 basic functions...order only by design of play....1) delay defender for.necessary length of time 2) leverage defender into a disadvantaged position relative to ball.holder/carrier at that moment, 3) dont get flagged for penalty that negates/diminishes gain.

can you share HOW you expect the returning OL members to perform at a higher level than they did last year?

my guess is Richt (or game plan creator) is going to have to.scheme quicker releases to.help.assist/cover the athletic shortfalls of the current OL group.

can it be done? sure...should he have to or will.he 3 years from now? no.

No, no you said GT has more talent on the O-line than us and better even though they barely pass protect and haven't had a lineman from their team get drafted in years because they're a one dimensional team like all option teams are. Oh btw the better athlete portion of your post is absolute bull**** at its finest and it's hilarious that you're trying to say they have better "technique" when they play an entirely different style of football than the rest of the country. It's unorthodox, there's no way to compare the styles of coaching of Stacy Searels and Mike Sewak because Sewak's offense predicates a different technique down to the basic fundamentals of blocking. Your comment alone to cane since birth shows your ineptitude( better reach or grab?? unless you were talking about hand placement saying that's coaching is absolutely idiotic, you don't teach 36' inch arms) you're outclassed here my dude.

Dude you tried to compare blocking techniques from a west coast offense to the option, your X's and O's insight contradicts itself. Anyone who has the slightest idea about football knows the techniques are night and day and you literally said you hope UM copies what GT does

Again still back tracking from your original statement by copying and pasting the definition of a O-linemen from wikipedia, and being hypocritical about reading post when you keep straying farther and farther away from you statement and what it relates to the scheme of GT

sad you dont understand the reach (some.call it grab) step of OL technique...your post clearly shows that..

what im.saying..again...put scheme aside and look ag athletic fundamentals...on tape..even last years GT disaster...it appears each of their group.was far more consistent in what OLs need to do...regatdless of scheme...they looked better as individuals..

so did just about every other ACC line last year (granted its in the past)...i didnt see enough Wake tape..so cant speak to them...but goodness was the OL just awful lsdt year..and we have several.returning....was Kehoe really that bad (maybe/probably)...is Searles that good (hope so)...

should i run away now keyboard tough guy?

let me.give you some.advice..when you start telling anyone about how many you have run off from anything....

guess what..you are the only dude in the room who beleives that...tbe rest of us laugh...
