ESPN updated top 300 for 2019

Brock on here using ESPN not giving our recruits bumps as an indictment of our class, then turns around and says he doesn't trust them though.

You ain't as bad as everyone makes you out to be, but as far as your feelings on the 2019 class, we know where you stand. I promise.
It’s not just espn, 247 too.

You really need to go get laid. Outside of Bama finishing top 5 in recruiting has done eff all for a lot of programs if you look back at some of the recent rankings. Coaching and development makes a big difference. Most people would assume by the Junior years you can pretty much tell about a class and re-rank them right? Well LSU was 2 and FSU was 3 in '16 (247 Sports), conversely we were 22. Looking back at the 16 class do you really think we are that outclassed by those 2 programs and should be run off the field by them? Stop with the recruiting ranking and star whoring with guys that haven't had to play a P5 down yet. Just let stuff play out. A lot of our guys are right on the cusp of being 4 stars. 4 and 3 stars will always make up the bulk of rosters.

Go root for **** USF with that type of dumbass thinking. Miami is in the most fertile recruiting ground in the country and a bunch of blue chip prospects reside in the state. You have to get your fair share every year period . Look at who have won titles within the last decade nearly all of them had over .50 percent blue chip ratio. That is what we need to be shooting for in every class . With that being said If we land the rest of Miami’s top targets then we will be well on to that and hitting that threshold to add on to the elite class we had last year
The 2017 Blue-Chip Ratio: Only 10 teams make the national title cut

And don’t get me wrong I’m all on board with this staff but some on this board act like the coaches are above any criticism in certain situations like everything is fine when at this time last year 14 of our 18 commits were blue chip recruits and now in this class it’s something like 5 or 6 out of 16 coming off a New Year 6 bowl. No one is saying the class won’t improve just telling it like it is. Let us all remember we are trying to catch bama and clemson.

Wrong. Look at the teams who have recruited top 6 over the past 5 years(excluding the 18 class who hasn't played a down yet) and their achievements.
Bama- their record speaks for it self.
OSU-1 national title, 2 B1G championship, 2 B1G eastern Conference Championship. The worst season in that time frame was 11-2. with 3 12 win seasons and a 14 win season
UGA- Took Bama to overtime in championship last year. 3 10+ win seasons. The last 3 classes put them in the top 5 and no surprise last year was their most successful season since the 80s.
FSU-National Championship, 2 ACC championships. 14 win season, 13 win, 2 10 wins, and then the disaster that was last year.
USC-Has had 4 head coaches in the past 5 year so it is not surprising that they did not do as well as their recruiting rankings projected. However, they still had Pac 12 championship, Pac South championship, 1 11 win season, 2 10 win seasons, a 9 and an 8 win season. That is pretty good for a team with such high turnover at HC.
Clemson- 1 National championship, 2 ACC championships. 2 14 win seasons, 1 12, 1 11, 1 10.

youre making no sense. In the last decade, championship teams have been putting together consistent top 10 classes at least. Most even top 5.

My point is pretty simple. Outside of Bama, teams winning titles are a bunch of one off scenarios. Auburn and Clemson made the title game twice. Outside of that no1 has done anything except Bama. Cool teams are winning conference titles that get high ranked classes. Honestly, those are consolation prizes.

LMAO, and he's way worse than Brock

No set of rankings will ever be perfect or even close. Still, you all know **** well that if we were killing it with top 300 ESPN players but another website had them ranked way lower, you'd all be saying how great ESPN is at their rankings while that other site sucks.

Best site yearly is the one ranking is the highest. Too funny.

247 is the most invested and clearly has the best rankings of all the major sites. They do the composite to be fair, but their own 247 rankings have always seemed more spot on than the other two. Rivals has been proven to bump players for certain programs to play off of who drives the most money to the websites. ESPN has just fallen off and I think Luginbill or however you spell his name is a joke.

Anyone saying they are happy about this class right now is lying to themselves considering what we had committed already this time last year. However I will Say that could change if we are able to hit on all our top targets however that remains to be seen

Crowley & Brooks are the two most underrated players in the country as far as film I've seen.

I agree, you need elite players to win. Anyone who says stars don't matter is delusional.
