Hahaha i think all wr are losing interest in uf. Travis rudolph did a interview on gator bait don't know what he said but uf posters are all saying bye and he is going to fsu they must not like what he said.
Do not recall our receivers doing jack yesterday either.....would still take them any day over any team though
He reminds me so much of guys we signed during Coker era.
Very Ryan Mooreish

BOOM. + REP. You nailed it dude. EXACTLY who I was thinking of and couldnt nail it down. Big, mediocre speed, overhyped "paper" recruit. Give me Dixon all day every day over Lane. Berrios, Dixon, and a couple of other blazers. This offense needs SPEED.
Too many kids out there thinking that just playing in the SEC is all they need to do to make it to the league.
I seen lane and cook at the game... to be honest **** em...
Didn't Lane say his commitment to UF was a "business decision?" If he watched that dusty-*** 1950's full house backfield offense and thought, "Oh yeah, working in that will have me showing out for allll the NFL scouts," I'm not sure he's smart enough to stay eligible at UM. Obviously he's going to get early PT, which is good. But it's going to be Driskel trying to get him the ball his first year, which uh, isn't ideal. If UF is this run heavy with a relatively experienced QB, what is it going to look like in Lane's sophomore year when they are breaking in a new QB? Might as well get used to blocking and putting up 60 ypg.
One reasons why Lane is choosing UF is because it most likely wont be Driskel at QB but Will Grier. Grier is under the impression that he will be competing for the starting job. Regardless if Lane doesn't come here then it's a bad move as far as styles are concerned on his part. Hope he improves on his downfield blocking
I mean he can think that, but I really really doubt it's going to be the case.
Football coaches are for the most part gutless and will take the "safe" option whenever they're given a choice. UF's defense is legit. They alone will keep UF in **** near every game. If Driskel plays just good enough not to lose and they end up in the SECCG and a BCS bowl game, there is no way that in '14 Muschamp will bench him for a true freshman. He might even think Grier gives them a better chance to win games, but as a HC you'll get a lot more slack for losing games if it's by a Senior who is in his third year starting, than if it's by a true freshman. Basically, most coaches believe it's better to lose by the book than it is to take risks when there are safer options available.

generally agree but muschamp is taking a lot of heat about the qb position right now. weis preferred brissett and would have started him had he stayed. a lot of people close to the program feel like the situation was mishandled but gave him leeway since we won 11 games last year. but people have been fed up with the offense at that qb for going on 2 years now.
a guy on another site has said foley is giving muschamp a blank check to go hire a top notch oc and open up the offense. grier is being told he will have a chance to win the job. i don't think it's out of the picture because just on defense alone uf should win 8 games. all he needs to do is protect the ball and make a play here or there. driskel still does freshman ****, might as well play the freshman.

Isn't the blank check top notch OC already there? I thought that's what Peas was supposed to be.
