Enos should take more responsibility for UF loss

Standing ovation for this post. He has Jarren under center on 2nd & 21, turning his back to the defense , yet he's blaming our RS Freshman QB for the offensive struggles. He brags about how he was completely prepared for everything Florida was going to do defensively, yet he made no adjustments when it was clear that our tackles were simply over matched. FOH. Look in the mirror and take some responsibility. This is your offense, Dan.
Yes! Yes!!

He should’ve started NKosi in the 2nd half and we would’ve won... that’s the only thing I blame Enos for.

I agree that tough love is sometimes necessary and if it's your constant style that's ok too. You are what you are

But you should be equally tough on your own self assessment and take full responsibility for your own shortcomings

Yes Jarren could have played better....same with our OT's.....BUT after the scripted plays at the start of the game, our offense's ability to react and adapt to the changes the gators were making also left much to be desired.

There's plenty of blame to go around for this loss....NO ONE is immune on both sides of the ball.

I just wish he had placed more of the blame on himself rather than his frosh QB and OT's besides just saying "the buck stops here with me"

The good thing is both coaches and players definitely have the ability to improve.....so we'll see vs. UNC

You’re grasping at straws.

You have no clue how much self-scouting he did after the game. All you heard was the message he decided to feed to the public.

Smart coaches use the media like puppets to get their messages to their players. All the best coaches do it, and the best in the college game does it every time he’s in front of a microphone. You think all those Sabag meltdowns aren’t purposeful?
We shall see. I'm just saying he came off sounding like an angrier version of Al Golden to me. "It starts with me" while then proceeding to blame the player(s) for everything that went wrong.

He didn’t blame the player for everything that went wrong. That’s just pure hyperbole on your part. He was very specific about where he went wrong.

And this coming off as an angry version of Golden. Just because he uses words that are commonly used in the English language, like anyone else that speaks English doesn’t mean he’s anything like Golden.

What concerned me about Enos's postgame comments is that I heard some of the same things that No D Ofrio used to say like. .."We didn't see anything that we didn't go over in practice".
Exactly. He brags about how well they scouted UF's defense yet they could not do **** offensively for the entire 2nd half of the game. People want to crown him because we "stole him from Saban". Whatever.

Who’s crowning him? You guys are laughable. The crown I put on people says “results” on it.

The entire program, the coaches, and the players, are all a question mark. That should go without saying. Somebody can say that there are good signs, without crowning anybody. It’s like there’s no in between on this site. You’re either a slurper or you’re a negative nellie.

That's not entirely what he said. The first thing he said was of he didn't play winning football. Then he said "It was very uncharacteristic to how he practiced leading up to that (meaning the game)." He wasn't expecting Jarren to do anything he didn't show in practice. Check out the following link at the 1:00 mark.

Meanwhile, Dno would say we went over anything in practice and all opposing players were accounted for. But he expected a superman-like effort to get from point A in a deep cover to point B to stop a short first down, for instance.

Al Golden imprinted himself on some souls around here.

You guys just want to relate all of our coaches back to other failed coaches because we’ve been burned so many times by **** coaches. I understand the psychology of it, but it’s two completely different guys who have zero connection to each other.

Sabag does the same **** with the media. So does Bill Babychick. Most great coaches use the media to send messages. It’s just the way it goes. Not saying Enos is a great coach because we don’t know for sure either way. But going up there and being Mr. Its All My Fault and The Players Did Everything Perfect might make the fans feel all warm and fuzzy, but it is meaningless.

At the end of the day, whether he does it your way or his way with the media, it all comes down to production. If he produces he can say whatever he wants; if he doesn’t he won’t be talking much because he’ll be fired.

Enos called a Coleyesque game. Great starting play sheet, then the offense turned into a potato with a brief reprieve involving a two minute drill.
WRs were running free when u watch the film the only gripe I have was move the pocket around on bootlegs or something. **** GT did it against Clemson and they still got destroyed.......its just recruiting has left our OL pretty weak and it sucks cause we shouldnt waste the weapons that we have and we have alot of weapons. I think the OL will improve throughout the season though.

So, a Gator website and senile writer are critiquing Miami's offense coordinator. Dude, write about your HC or OC and efforts to potentially cost Gators a win . . . risky-as-**** fake punt that could have been a catastrophy and a goofy-*** late pass that even had Spurrier shaking his head.

Everyone is always humping Sabag’s leg. Then when we get a guy who uses some of his methods our fans start shedding tears like a Native American watching some scoundrel litter.

Iron Eyes Cody!!!

BTw, I took Enos' comments as his way of saying that he has very high expectations of Jarren -- and in turn, he's going to hold him to a high standard

Coaches know when they have a thoroughbred they can ride to the finish line

All, I know is 50% of the offensive woes we experienced in the 2nd half were a direct result of Enos’ failures.

He threw Jarren under the bus even though he dont have his own house in order.

And we still don’t know if he’s a good OC. Im not convinced, and he’s shown me nothing to make me think he’s some kind of offensive genius. I see average and grantham **** on him the entire second half. The game he called is extremely questionable and if you guys werevto take off the orange and green glasses you’d see the obvious.

He’s an excellent QB coach, but his only experience as a P5 OC was at Arkansas and he was canned along with Beliema; the Arkansas offense was average.

He’s only had a few stints as an OC his entire career and that’s just a few years at DII schools, way back in the 90s. Most of his career he was been a QB coach or WR coach.

Did not throw QB “under the bus”
