Enos should take more responsibility for UF loss

Jarren sure seems to be embracing Enos' criticism. Didn't seem the least bit upset about it and actually agreed with Enos' assessment.

Could it be that Enos knows Jarren a little better than any of us and understands exactly how to motive his QB1?

I dga flip what he has to say, ever. Are you winning? If not get up out my face. We've had enough talkers at Miami. Thanks , Al. Just win baby.
Yeah, I notice that people care a whole lot about what you say if you lose, but if you win it's all good. Caring who takes the blame is fair, but it tells me we aren't winning.

The game was not an effing disaster. Even my Badger Sweetheart (team is skull ****liings USF) said..

"Miami had a few bad calls. But really the Canes had plenty of chances to win the game."

This game is now in the rear view man. Time to get on with the tarheels. Win, and just keep trucking 100 percent every game.

Gators were not scrubs. Remember that. They are not NC contenders, but pretty solid at the end of this season. They would beat about all of the ACC.

But hey, flick em. We Canes over here.

The amount of criticism our "fans" are giving these coaches is laughable.

It was Week 0 with a brand new staff, a brand new quarterback—going up against a solid defense and the #8 team in the country, on the heels of 7-6 and a 35-3 bowl ***-kicking that sent Mark Richt into retirement.

For those who can't logically assess things on a week-to-week basis, just put your head in the sand until December and give a full evaluation when the first season is in the books.
Thank you nail on the head! First game with 3 freshman making starts in 3 of the most important positions in a offence! But the penalties killed us and JT muffing the punt an dropping a td pass which would have fiven willams 2 td passes for the game and a win! It was a SEC team ranked 8th in the nation there last game was something like 41-14 we got our asses man handled in the bowl! We should have actually won this game we were clearly the better team!! Little stupid mistakes that can be fixed is why we lost! We should run through the ACC were a very talented team! Our offence looked better than last year special teams needs to tighten up and donr forget we didnt have Ivey, Lo, Bubba wasnt ready yet and Nesta is down once this offence starts clicking with this defence were gonna be good!!! I hope we win out and Clemson lost alot last year 3 first round d line man is going to be hard to replace! Thats rare!

I’m not going to spend much time with you because I know you’re a schtick guy. Criticize Enos all you want. But if you’re an actual UM and not just a message board attention ***** looking to lead a premature lynching you’ll come with something better than “we only scored 3 points off 4 turnovers so that means our coach sucks.”

That’s just Retarded Loudmouth Miserable Fan 101. It’s lazy bullshyt fake analysis, especially when there’s clear footage from the game showing where merely good execution could have resulted in 3 or 4 more TDs.

Now carry on with your schtick, and congratulations for sucking me into your vortex of dimwitedness for a minute.

Brah, you were one of the main guys preaching from the faith and from the alter of Al Golden in his early years, so your words carry little weight, here. You’ve proven prone to fall victim to emotional decisions, based solely on coach speak, and there is nothing wrong with that, so it’s no surprise you think Enos is beyond reproach. But let’s keep it 100...you’ve publicly backed the Golden horse and were a keeper of the “al golden” faith so your credibility is shot, as far as Im Concerned. I refuse to take any Al Golden supporters seriously. I’m not gonna do it!

Were all Canes fan and you’re seemingly a swell guy but your words/perspective rings hollow at the moment. Enos might prove to be a good OC but he hasn’t shown **** so far. As I said, he was fired along with Beliema from Arkansas

Join date: late August 2015...yet you know what posters were saying 4 years earlier, brah.

I think you’re the one with a major credibility problem.

Also, you sound like a low level juvenile trying to get attention at the grownups table.

So I keep seeing everyone talk about what Enos should’ve done especially helping the tackles in the game but maybe he saw that if Jarren got rid of the ball on time half of those sacks wouldn’t happen and that’s why he called Jarren out. Do you understand how hard it is to get 10 sacks. If Jarren gets rid of the ball on half of the sacks we probably win by double digits.

We used to be qbu and Enos can build that here again

I’ll say it again: he had Jarren under center on 2nd & 21 running play action. That is not putting Jarren in position to succeed. Jarren definitely held the ball too long on a couple of the sacks but for the most part he simply never had a chance. Oh and BTW, who is Jarren’s QB coach? If you‘re going to blame Williams for the 10 sacks, then his coach also deserves criticism for not preparing him better. You can’t have it both ways.

Watching the games last night really helps you appreciate how much Enos is behind the times as an OC.
He’s not Richt where the game has *completely* passed him by, but he’s closer to being Richt than he is being at the forefront.

Some people threw around the OC from Yale that ended up at OSU. Watching them last night, and my god. Give me that system.

But that’s probably true of every game. Yes, there are probably plays where if we make them, we score more points. Welcome to football.

The point is on a down to down, drive to drive basis, nothing about that offensive game plan or playcalling was intended to make it easy or put stress on the defense.

In the end, if you asked opposing fans:

What offense would you most prefer Miami runs?

Outside of the triple option or some ****, most would say exactly what we ran last week. That’s what you would want to face if you were going against Miami on Saturday.

Did you expect a rattled Jarren Williams who could barely snap the ball off in time able to execute anything remotely complicated in that environment?

His first game. First game. How about you double your sample size with Enos to a whopping 2 games before you whip out the pitchforks?

By this logic Larry Coker should still be coaching the team.
How is a HC who gradually tanked a program over the course of 6 years due to his horrible leadership at all similar to an OC who has coached ONE GAME AT UM?

If you watched that game and didn’t see several plays that would have resulted in TDs with good execution then I’d ask that you watch it again. Was JT not holding that TD pass Enos’s fault? Brevin had a TD pass in his hands too. JT was wide open for a walk-in TD two or three times and we didn’t throw it to him.

I was hoping for nothing remotely complicated.

Nothing about modern college football offenses is remotely complicated. That’s why offenses are lighting up defenses in today’s game.

Simple concepts that are easy to repeat on a yearly basis but are very difficult to defend.

We did none of it. Enos is bringing us into the modern era on offense by ditching the RPO and read option apparently.

So an elite throw in tight coverage is the example we are going with that Enos’ offense is worth a buck of **** schematically?

I came away from that play thinking it was Williams that was stud. The idea that Enos was the stud for that play never would have entered a single rational person’s brain.

If this is the best example of what *Enos* can do, what do we need him for?

I’d need something a little more scientific to verify your theory. How about we give it more than one game?

It’s a very similar offense to what everyone was doing cartwheels over and got McVeigh the label of genius with the Rams. Yet you think it’s the easiest offense to defend based on one game against an excellent defense with a QB and both Tackles getting their first reps.

Who called Enos a stud based on that throw? You guys love killing our coaches and arguing. I’m not interested in either.
