ENOS OUT

To be fair, Miami plays in the ACC Coastal. We only play 1-2 good teams a year. At this point, I'd settle for winning the games they're supposed to win.

*This is not an endorsement of Long. Just a statement that we don't need a perfect hire, just not an awful one.

Long would be an awful hire.

Penos Da Gawd is taking his talents to the MAC. Any P5 school would not dare hire him unless he is strictly a QB coach. Even that is questionable.

Expected, but the real test comes now.

Will Manny blow a second hire at OC in one calendar year?
Folks should be careful what they wish for. Enos may have not been a good OC and I agree, but he's a very good QB coach that has a lot of street cred. I doubt that we get TVD without Enos.

Despite what people think, IMO, a lot of the QB woes can be attributed to the poor offensive line play. Tom Brady threw for < 56% in 6 of his games this year including a low 45% against Buffalo in their first meeting this year. No coincidence that New England's offensive line is the worst in over a decade.

Unless the offensive line gets fixed, a new OC won't matter much.

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Say it isn't trUe. Because it's not even APRIL FOOL'S day yet, Cane fool's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hUh.

Nevertheless, moving on to a different tangent of the Orange and Green degree. What the F' is up with the Vegas point spread!!!!!!!!!!

MY Miami Hurricane's are a F'in.... - 7 point favorite. Am I missing something. Or perhaps I don't have a clue about the machinations of Sin City point spreads and what not. After all, I SEE-r Enos THROWING the game just to SPITE y'all Miami Hurricane fans and all that.

Except the scheme and playcalling by the OC can either magnify the shortcomings of the OL, or it can help mask them. For whatever stubborn, idiotic reason, Enos chose to continue calling plays that magnified the OL shortcomings. To the point that even TV announcers were openly pointing it out and criticizing him on air.

Exactly. Orgeron was viewed as a joke, and most LSU fans wanted him gone....that changed quickly.

Everyone always viewed O as a good posiiton coach but not a good HC. I know someone who played for him when he was at Ole Miss and said the samething but that his players loved him. He got that 2nd chance at LSU and didnt want to fu*k it up. I almost feel Manny knows this was his "2nd" chance as a DC after Texas had fired him and made the most of it. Now its his time to show he can be the HC because i dont think he would get another chance if he gets fired. No matter how it happened with Enos this is a good thing but Manny must make the right hire this time.

RIGHT ON, Cane dude. And, most of these Cane fan's simply don't a a clue! And like U point out. Telly announcers CONSISTENTLY came on with the same MANTRA.... calling plays to HELP the young offensive line!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree. I was no fan of Enos's play calling and his stubborn ways. Could never understand why he under used our TEs and tall WRs in the redzone. Could have kept Njoku and Hightower in the fold with redzone 50/50 balls that would have been like 80/20 with his height. Redzone score would have much much better than trying to feed the ball to small quick receivers in tight spaces.

Manny earned some respect.

Let's not f this up again.

The jury is still out on YOUR CHICO, Diaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's see how the game turns out today. And let's witness IF the team goes AWOL on Diaz today!

After all, Miami is a SURPRISING... - 7 point favorite!

I hope the veterans that were disinterested in playing this bowl game are also shown the door to the transfer portal.
