Orgeron knew how to hire assistants.Exactly. Orgeron was viewed as a joke, and most LSU fans wanted him gone....that changed quickly.

Great news. Looks like Manny isn’t going to roll over and let his dream die. We’ll see if he can make the right decisions this time. I’m skeptical, but this move is at least a little bit encouraging.
No, he corrected his mistake in hiring his previous OC. Orgeron's team had a terrible offense with a terrible OC, which is why fans wanted him gone. Hopefully, that is exactly what Manny is going to do with his new pick.Orgeron knew how to hire assistants.
This account has been hit or miss. Some right and ahead of everyone. Some wrong (for now) like which players going to the draft.
Honestly in my eyes the problem with the oline isnt on the coach. We recruit soft kids for line play in general(on both sides of the ball)except for nesta. U need a coach who can teach his kids how to thrive in that system. U need a coach who's technical enough to stress hand placement and footwork. But most off you need those kids that just dont like people. That wanna stomp the other teams faces every time they down.Fck all that OL talk. It’s the same tired **** we heard the whole time Doritos was here about our DL. Hire a competent OC and OL coach and the OL whining will end as quickly as the DL **** did.
Wait, are you saying Ed O's recruiting blows? Dude is an elite recruiter.
Wrong. Briles went to FSU knowing full well Taggart was on the hot seat. Happens all the time. If they have an ego, which they should at this level, they believe they can make a difference.Let's watch as Diaz hires another crappy play caller. Nothing to get excited about, no OC worth a **** wants to work with a guy who is on the hot seat.

Believe it when I see it
What are you talking about? First Kliff Kingsbury and then Graham Harrell took OC jobs at USC last offseason when Clay Helton was getting pressed.Let's watch as Diaz hires another crappy play caller. Nothing to get excited about, no OC worth a **** wants to work with a guy who is on the hot seat.
