Elijah Roberts to the portal

Not to be that guy, I do wish him well. However when is the last time a Miami player transferred and was ever heard of again? Gus Edwards? Not many of the kids that leave Miami go somewhere and ball out and make it. just stating a fact.

We the fans yelled about all the holes of the teams and they addressed none of them. The guys that supposedly watched film. That’s malpractice.

We need way more than 1 LB. Definitely needed a Wideout and some Offensive Lineman.

Add to the fact that guy that were productive last year magically don’t know how to play football anymore is concerning. TVD, Knighton, K.Smith all fell off a cliff. Ain’t no way

I don’t believe Mario getting rid of Gattis until i see it.

If there was any accountability he would have been fired already. How can u hold these kids to a standard, when the staff underperforms every game and absolutely nothing has been done to change it.

For some strange reason...posters here think we are going to "flip" the roster with talent from out the portal.....

Majority of that talent in the portal will be castaways fromt heir previous school so this will be interesting to watch.

They keep saying we will have 40 new guys.....like it just will be 40 beast in the portal good enough to make up for the coaching defiicencies of Mario Cristobal.

Im not expecting to see a complete turn around that some are expecting...im expecting small steps in hopefully a new offensive staff. We will have talent deficiencies on Defense still next year imo due to previous recruiting and always losing guys like Elijah Roberts or depth pieces.

The word is a lot of talent is expected in the portal this offseason. And the 40 includes the recruiting class. So maybe around 15 transfers

Our current best players are transfer portal guys who haven’t been poisoned by the Hurricane culture.

You’re right - for every mesidor and Jackson there are many more Caleb Johnson’s and Jonathan denis’s. Howevah, if you scout well, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that you can bring in several quality starter types. Just look at what we did with our DL. It was overhauled overnight. Mario can do the same at LB, OL and WR if he gets the right guys.
