Not trying to discredit what u’re saying, but how good is he? I noticed SMU was in the bottom 3rd in sacks, almost dead last against the run, & TFLs was in the 50’s this yr.

I’m not familiar w/ who their DL coach is, but those results don’t scream one of the best.

NGL, I don’t know a ton about him only that he’s known to be a real up and comer, great recruiter, etc.

5th round pick for the Bucs, Roberts had 18 sacks in two years at SMU. Between him and Smith is strange that we let so much talent walk out the door. Smith had 1700 Total yards 18TDs in his one season at SMU. I guess we just had to much talent at RB.

Smith would have been the 4th most talented back (Could say third over Fletcher speaking purely on talent). His numbers were inflated by a weak schedule

Happy for Robert’s. Didn’t know his sack # was that high.

No doubt Smith and Roberts has great, all ACC caliber seasons after riding the bench here. But the story isn’t over yet. I am watching to see if Smith and Roberts have better NFL careers than the transfers we brought in, Martinez and Baron. 👀
